All drivers must be listed on the rental agreement. ## SPEEDING VIOLATION ### N$1,500 Charged per GPS-detected speeding incident. Speeding also voids insurance cover for the remainder of the rental. ## TRAFFIC FINE ADMINISTRATION ### N$450 Administration fee charged per official traffic fine, in addition to the value of the fine. ## NO-GO AREA VIOLATION ### N$30,000 Charged for entering a prohibited No-Go Area. Insurance is immediately void and all resulting damage remains for the renter's account. ## LATE RETURN ### N$3,500 + Daily Rate Charged per additional day or part thereof, in addition to the normal daily rental rate. ## FUEL SHORTFALL ### N$250 + Fuel Charged when the vehicle is not returned with a full fuel tank, plus the cost of the missing fuel. ## EXCESSIVE CLEANING ### N$1,750 Valet fee charged when a vehicle is returned excessively dirty and requires cleaning beyond normal rental preparation. ## HEAVY SCRATCHES ### N$3,500 Polishing or paint-correction fee for heavy scratches requiring professional attention. More serious damage may be charged at actual repair cost. ## LOST VEHICLE KEY ### N$6,500 Replacement key charge, plus any applicable courier, travel or delivery costs. ## INSURANCE CLAIM HANDLING ### N$5,000 Claims handling fee charged for each insurance claim submitted, regardless of fault. ## STICKER / DECAL REMOVAL ### N$400 Charged per unauthorised sticker, decal or sign attached to the rental vehicle. ## EXCLUDED DAMAGE ### Full Cost + 20% Where damage is excluded from insurance, the renter may be responsible for the full repair or replacement cost plus a 20% administration fee. ## RIM DAMAGE ### Full Replacement Cost Rim damage is never covered. Bent, cracked, scuffed, kerbed or missing rims are charged at full OEM replacement value plus applicable fitting, balancing and transport costs. ## TYRE DAMAGE ### Actual Replacement Cost Tyre damage outside the selected cover is for the renter's account. Optional Tyre & Windscreen Cover is limited to one tyre per rental. ## WINDSCREEN DAMAGE ### Actual Replacement Cost Windscreen damage is for the renter's account unless optional Tyre & Windscreen Cover has been selected. Cover is limited to one windscreen per rental. ## SIDE WINDOWS & MIRRORS ### Full Replacement Cost Side-window and side-mirror damage is not covered by any insurance option and is charged at the applicable repair or replacement cost. ## WRONG FUEL ### Full Repair & Recovery Cost Using the incorrect fuel is treated as negligence. All resulting repair, towing and recovery costs are for the renter's account. ## ROLLOVER / WRITE-OFF ### 20% of Replacement Value A vehicle rollover or write-off attracts a damage fee equal to 20% of the vehicle Replacement Value. Towing and administration charges are additional. ## CROSS-BORDER RECOVERY ### Actual Cost If a vehicle becomes undrivable outside Namibia, all costs of returning it to Namibia are for the renter's account, including towing, transport, customs, documentation and third-party charges. ## NEGLIGENCE / VEHICLE MISUSE ### Full Cost Damage resulting from negligence, prohibited driving, incorrect 4x4 operation, mechanical misuse or other excluded use is charged to the renter in full. ## UNAUTHORISED TOWING OR REPAIRS ### Actual Cost Towing or repairs must be approved by Go Rent. Unauthorised towing or repairs may invalidate insurance and remain for the renter's account. ## Important Information About Additional Charges Additional charges may apply in combination depending on the circumstances of an incident. Insurance does not cover every type of damage or vehicle use. Where insurance is excluded or voided, the renter may be responsible for the full repair or replacement cost, recovery and towing costs, administration fees and other associated expenses. Security deposits and insurance options do not limit the renter's liability for damage or events specifically excluded under the Rental Terms & Conditions. ## Security & Damage Deposits Depending on the selected insurance option, itinerary and collection arrangements, the following deposits may apply: **Basic Cover** — N$45,000 Security Deposit**Extended Cover** — N$30,000 Security Deposit**Premium Cover** — No excess on covered claims**Fuel & Administration Deposit** — N$7,500**Remote Collection / Cross-Border Damage Deposit** — N$15,000 where applicable Additional deposits may be required for certain cross-border destinations or itineraries. Deposits do not provide cover for damage or events specifically excluded under the Rental Terms & Conditions. Deposit Refunds Release time 7days. ## Accident, Breakdown or Damage? If an accident, breakdown, theft or vehicle damage occurs: - Stop safely and contact **Go Rent immediately**. - Do not arrange towing or repairs without prior Go Rent approval. - Obtain a police report within **24 hours** of any accident, theft or incident requiring an insurance claim. - Follow all instructions provided by Go Rent. - In the event of theft, ensure the original vehicle keys remain in your possession.
