Très bonne agence de location. Vous êtes récupérés à l’aéroport puis la voiture vous est remise dans le centre de Windhoek. La voiture était comme neuve aucun problème pendant 15 jours malgré des trajets périlleux (sable, cailloux, flaques). Les explications pour la prise en main de la voiture était très claires. Tout l’équipement camping y compris les tentes est super. Les tentes sont confortables et faciles à déplier/replier après une journée de prise en main. Mention spéciale à Simon qui nous a accompagné à l’aller et au retour de l’aéroport et expliqué le fonctionnement de la voiture. Un grand merci.Posted on Google

We went through our itinerary with Robert who recommanded specific roads related both to road quality and sightseeing. The cars are very well equipped. We drove more than 5000km on all types of roads and the cars responded really well. Great car - great company! We choose 4x4 Rentals for our roadtrip through Namibia and can highly recommend this company. Very straightforward booking and smooth process with top service. We were picked up from the airport as agreed, and even our delay was not an issue.Our driver Sam was friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of important information about the car and general traffic regulations.Our car was in excellent condition, well equipped, including a navigation system, Wi-Fi router in the car and a SIM card for emergency calling. Additionally we received Robert´s mobile number for any issues that might arise on the road. Luckily, we didn´t need it. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und auch vor Antritt der Reise funktionierte die Kommunikation per Mail super easy. Das Auto hat uns auf ganzer Linie überzeugt und wir haben uns während des gesamten Urlaubs sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die Dachzelte waren mega komfortabel und einfach auf- und abzubauen. Die Campingausstattung ist sehr üppig, sodass uns auch da nichts gefehlt hat. Der Shuttleservice vom und zum Flughafen hat ebenfalls super geklappt. Exceptional services and best quality vehicle 4x4 that we rented was exceptional, perfectly equipped for our family trip (2 adults, 3 children). Each tent had a comfortable mattress, with pillows, duvets and sleeping bags provided - a real comfort. The service was impeccable, with detailed explanations from the beginning. Rob and his team (including Alisia, Simon, Once) were fastidious, helpful, professional. On a number of occasions they demonstrated a personal and flexible touch (credit card block, various airport transfers). The 3 Hilux we hired for the trip were robust, comfortable and well equipped. Simon picked us from the Airport on time and explained everything once we got the car. All required camping equipments were provided and it as enough for our 12 days road trip. Robert was always available throughout our road trip on phone if we had had any issues or questions. We took the full insurance and also recommend to take it for other guests as it is very hassle-free. The car was in good condition and we finished the road trip without any problems. My colleagues and I were traveling for work and only had time for a very quick (2 night) last minute trip. Robert and his colleagues were so accommodating in letting us book only 2 days in advance. The vehicle had absolutely everything we needed for our short trip to Swakopmund. We were highly impressed with how thorough the team was in packing supplies for us. The wifi worked extremely well, and the tents were comfortable and large. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a camping experience who might have limited supplies/planning time!!! Paolo G23 May 2026The absolute best for your Namibia-Roadtrip!! We rented a 4x4 Hilux Toyota from this company for our 8-days roadtrip in Namibia. We were in 5, with two tents on top of the car and one on the ground. None of us had experience before in long roadtrips, especially mostly on gravel/off-roads. The car looked almost new on the first day, tyres perfect. No punctures, no problems of fuel. In the car there is everything to perfectly live inside it. With this car you can go everywhere! Even in 5, there is enough space to be comfortable. There is wifi in the car provided by a router with 30 Gb and a sim-card for emergency. Wifi works well especially in the campings and in populated areas. Everything mentioned in the description was in the car, in terms of accessories and fridge. About the people working there, they were super helpful already from the beginning. They take time for you, you fill really welcomed. We also took a coffee with them. After carefully reading together the contract, they were super nice to explain us everything on our destinations and on our planned road trip. On the second day we lost the number plate, and the company was super effective to answer and provide us with all the necessary information and help. The checkout was smooth and quick, and they were super honest. Airport transfer provided and useful. Really really recommended!! 💪🏼Posted on Google

It was also relatively easy to self drive to Deadvlei sand road with this 4x4 car. Tent was really comfortable with option to ventilation if needed during the night. Also waterproof since we had some rain in Naukluft mountains during the night. All you could possibly need in your road trip was included, even wifi and sim card. Would also like to highlight the great service from Robert and Peter. They made sure that our experience would be perfect by offering 24/7 chat assistance if needed. When picking up the car for rental, we were in a bit of hurry to get on the road before sunset, Peter made efficient and fast job to get everything prepared quickly for us. Exrta points from airport transportation service; we returned the car and wanted to stay in Windhoek for another night, they offered to pick us up the next day from hotel to the airport for free. The vehicle was in prime condition and their experience on what to kit it out with was invaluable and all came from their immaculate store room. The result was an amazing 16 day trip over some of the toughest roads on the world without a single puncture in the greatest comfort. I really can recommend to explore the land by 4x4 camping car, because everything is designed to see everything with that kind of travelstyle and everything is so easy to organize. Especially with Robert from Go Rent Namibia 4x4. We cam to work in Namibia from Germany, after we had finished, we had 5 days over. No rental company was so spontaneous, helpful, honest and clear as Go rental Namibia. We were contacting via whatsapp and got all information we need in hours. Robert and his crew was packing everything in 30minutes and after a really good and professional briefing about the car and the equipment, we could drive away immediately without any hussle and no loss of time. I never write reviews, but actually without this organisation, we would never have made this wonderful experience to see whole Namibia in 5 days. We drove long distances without any problems. That is not luck, but the company knows exactly what they do, how to prepare and build those car-setups and pack the things you really need on your journey. The equipment and materials used are high quality and designed to last a long time. That's why you feel completely comfortable and safe. But the contact and constant availability are simply invaluable. The personal and really friendly contact with Robert was so good that we are already planning our next Namibia tour with the whole family. Since we once again underestimated the routes in Namibia, it was really tight with the car return and our departure. It was only because of how quickly Robert completed the return and personal transfer to the airport that we were just able to hop on the plane. I came to Windhoek to look for an honest renter, take a simple car, cross Namibia. At the end I found a unique and special person, who gave me a comfortable and unstoppable car, which took me safely through an enchanted world. Robert is not just a renter, first of all he is a person who loves nature and travel, and he wants to give you his experience and expertise. You tell him your needs and he provides you with the right car for you, at the right price, gives you the necessary equipment and much more, follows you through everything at any time, explains everything to you. I had asked for a budget car, which took me around 6000 km (on difficult roads), without a problem or a puncture (which is not a given, but comes from the correct preparation of the vehicle). The price also included binoculars, a SIM card, an internet router, quality equipment, a spacious and practical tent, mattress, pillows, blanket, insurance that really covers you for any inconvenience, and a taxi service. Robert does all this by treating you as a friend, not a customer, surrounded by a wonderful family that I had the honor of knowing. Robert and his wife also know how to be fantastic hosts (and fantastic cooks), having at their disposal a spacious and luxurious apartment in the most beautiful area of the city (at a negligible price). The strong comfortable Hilux took us 4300km far in the most beautiful places of Namibia and botswana. We drove as far as Kasane and had taken the option to leave the car in Botswana. Down to the last detail, this car is equipped to help you cover the great distances. The camping equipment and tent are top! EVERYTHING is simply super organized, you will be picked up at the airport by Naffie (an endearing person to remember) ,The day after the vehicle was handed over by Robert's team , the explanation is adequate and instructive. Afterwards, Robert helps you plot your route and gives the necessary important tips. Keep in mind that there is a left-hand drive in Windhoek , after a long journey this is an adjustment . At the departure from Windhoek Robert helped us by driving in front . Robert is a top manager , you feel that the company is run by him in a purely human, friendly way . Their cars are new, with everything you need for a smooth camping experience (and I really mean everything). Also, we felt very supported by their team on all steps of our trip (thank you Christina and Jessica!). During our 2-week drive we had a minor issue with 2 broken locks on the back of the car (this was not the company's fault) and their team immediately directed us to a car shop in the vicinity of our location, which fixed the problem in 30 minutes, free of charge. Much has already been said about how amazing this vehicle hire company is so, while I totally concur with that, there are a couple of aspects I feel I should mention. Firstly the staff. From the get go they provide clear information of what to expect, what’s included and what’s not . So, prior to leaving home you can clearly compare and contrast their vehicles with other options, then make an informed decision. Admittedly others are cheaper, but once critical add ons are included that is not necessarily the case. As always, it pays to dig deep when researching. Included in the fantastic service, the standout feature for us was the SIM card and mobile wi fi device provided. We did not need the SIM card as it turned out, however the mobile wi fi was brilliant. It was an absolute blessing and the envy of fellow travellers. Everything was perfectly organized from the start. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the office where we received a very warm welcome. The car was brand new, and after detailed instructions and explanations we were off. Two weeks without a hitch and we were completely happy with a great car. Robert was available at all times and was willing to drive across the country to help personally in an emergency. It was simply perfect! So much better than the experience we had 10 years before during our first trip. At this time, we had rented to a larger, South Africa-based company and had many problems with the car (3 flat tires during the first few hundred kilometres of the trip, problems with the batterie…). This time, we decided to rent with Namibia based Go Rent Namibia 4x4, and we highly recommend! The car was great, very reliable and equipped with very good tires, which is quite important when traveling in remote places. The roof tents and camping equipment were also perfect. Everything was well thought, with four boxes containing all what you need for comfort throughout the trip: everything you need to make a fire, cook, eat, sleep (extra blankets…), and enjoy nature (binoculars, headlamp…). Frankly you can feel that the team is used to do camping and knowns what is needed to make your trip incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. A special mention to Simon, who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, and with whom we had a great chat. Many thanks to Robert and all the team also. The owner is very nice, he explained everything in detail, how to drive safely, how to repair a wheel in case of problems, what the car is equipped with (and it was equipped with everything we needed and even more). We were given an extra sleeping bag and a blanket in case it was cold at night and beers for the first night at the campsite ;)! We had a very nice chat and coffee with the owner and the driver who took us to the airport when we returned the car. If we ever come back to Namibia we will definitely rent a car here again! The vehicle had lots of customised extras, like digital tyre pressure display and in car Wi-Fi (which is really effective) all of which made driving so much more enjoyable. They had also used top of the range all terrain tyres which minimise the chances of a puncture- we had none but noted many others did. We covered 2500 km with the peace of mind of 2 spare tyres, dual batteries and luxuries such as a fridge/freezer. The cars are very capable off road and also comfortable for long hours behind the wheel with cruise control and Apple car play. The roof top tents are so easy to setup and great to sleep in. It can be daunting renting in a foreign country but this company was amazing! Not only did the truck perform absolutely flawlessly, but the customer service is top notch, as the owner picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and was in touch via whatsap during the trip just to make sure all was okay. It made us feel that we had strong support should something happen in some of the more remote areas. Also, there were extras thrown in for free with the truck that were very helpful. In fact, it felt more like a friend helping out instead of someone just going through the motions for work. It was very easy to communicate with them, they explained us everything before our travel, even arranged airport pick-up and a hostel for our first night in Windhoek. Before getting the car, we went through out route with them, and they gave us very useful advice about our route. We rented two tented 4x4 car from them and it had everything we needed, a fridge, all camping equipment, Wi-fi, binoculars, etc. All equipment were quite new, and the tents were very clean&comfortable, very easy to open and pack. The tires took us all the way through without even a puncture (3000 kms in 10 days). Robert kept in touch with us to see if everything was going fine. We have been extremely satisfied with their service and I definitely recommend Robert's company. I look forward to seeing north of Namibia next time again renting a 4x4 from Robert.Posted on Google

Rian and Robert were super nice and helpful during the whole rental period, gave us tips and advice on our route and even included a gas cooker and some pots for free. The 4x4 itself was in perfect condition and we didn't have any problems with it. I can highly recommend this company and will rent there again if I come back to Namibia. We were in 5, with two tents on top of the car and one on the ground. None of us had experience before in long roadtrips, especially mostly on gravel/off-roads. The car looked almost new on the first day, tyres perfect. No punctures, no problems of fuel. In the car there is everything to perfectly live inside it. With this car you can go everywhere! Even in 5, there is enough space to be comfortable. There is wifi in the car provided by a router with 30 Gb and a sim-card for emergency. Wifi works well especially in the campings and in populated areas. Everything mentioned in the description was in the car, in terms of accessories and fridge. About the people working there, they were super helpful already from the beginning. They take time for you, you fill really welcomed. We also took a coffee with them. After carefully reading together the contract, they were super nice to explain us everything on our destinations and on our planned road trip. On the second day we lost the number plate, and the company was super effective to answer and provide us with all the necessary information and help. The checkout was smooth and quick, and they were super honest. Airport transfer provided and useful. Robert and his crew was packing everything in 30minutes and after a really good and professional briefing about the car and the equipment, we could drive away immediately without any hussle and no loss of time. I never write reviews, but actually without this organisation, we would never have made this wonderful experience to see whole Namibia in 5 days. We drove long distances without any problems. That is not luck, but the company knows exactly what they do, how to prepare and build those car-setups and pack the things you really need on your journey. The equipment and materials used are high quality and designed to last a long time. That's why you feel completely comfortable and safe. But the contact and constant availability are simply invaluable. The personal and really friendly contact with Robert was so good that we are already planning our next Namibia tour with the whole family. Since we once again underestimated the routes in Namibia, it was really tight with the car return and our departure. It was only because of how quickly Robert completed the return and personal transfer to the airport that we were just able to hop on the plane. I came to Windhoek to look for an honest renter, take a simple car, cross Namibia. At the end I found a unique and special person, who gave me a comfortable and unstoppable car, which took me safely through an enchanted world. Robert is not just a renter, first of all he is a person who loves nature and travel, and he wants to give you his experience and expertise. You tell him your needs and he provides you with the right car for you, at the right price, gives you the necessary equipment and much more, follows you through everything at any time, explains everything to you. I had asked for a budget car, which took me around 6000 km (on difficult roads), without a problem or a puncture (which is not a given, but comes from the correct preparation of the vehicle). The price also included binoculars, a SIM card, an internet router, quality equipment, a spacious and practical tent, mattress, pillows, blanket, insurance that really covers you for any inconvenience, and a taxi service. Robert does all this by treating you as a friend, not a customer, surrounded by a wonderful family that I had the honor of knowing. Robert and his wife also know how to be fantastic hosts (and fantastic cooks), having at their disposal a spacious and luxurious apartment in the most beautiful area of the city (at a negligible price). Unforgettable!!! Our journey would never have been possible without our loyal ally (4x4). The strong comfortable Hilux took us 4300km far in the most beautiful places of Namibia and botswana. We drove as far as Kasane and had taken the option to leave the car in Botswana. Down to the last detail, this car is equipped to help you cover the great distances. The camping equipment and tent are top! EVERYTHING is simply super organized, you will be picked up at the airport by Naffie (an endearing person to remember) ,The day after the vehicle was handed over by Robert's team , the explanation is adequate and instructive. Afterwards, Robert helps you plot your route and gives the necessary important tips. Keep in mind that there is a left-hand drive in Windhoek , after a long journey this is an adjustment . Their cars are new, with everything you need for a smooth camping experience (and I really mean everything). During our 2-week drive we had a minor issue with 2 broken locks on the back of the car (this was not the company's fault) and their team immediately directed us to a car shop in the vicinity of our location, which fixed the problem in 30 minutes, free of charge. Much has already been said about how amazing this vehicle hire company is so, while I totally concur with that, there are a couple of aspects I feel I should mention. Firstly the staff. From the get go they provide clear information of what to expect, what’s included and what’s not . Admittedly others are cheaper, but once critical add ons are included that is not necessarily the case. As always, it pays to dig deep when researching. The car was brand new, and after detailed instructions and explanations we were off. Two weeks without a hitch and we were completely happy with a great car. It was simply perfect! So much better than the experience we had 10 years before during our first trip. At this time, we had rented to a larger, South Africa-based company and had many problems with the car (3 flat tires during the first few hundred kilometres of the trip, problems with the batterie…). This time, we decided to rent with Namibia based Go Rent Namibia 4x4, and we highly recommend! The car was great, very reliable and equipped with very good tires, which is quite important when traveling in remote places. The roof tents and camping equipment were also perfect. Everything was well thought, with four boxes containing all what you need for comfort throughout the trip: everything you need to make a fire, cook, eat, sleep (extra blankets…), and enjoy nature (binoculars, headlamp…). Frankly you can feel that the team is used to do camping and knowns what is needed to make your trip incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. A special mention to Simon, who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, and with whom we had a great chat. Many thanks to Robert and all the team also. The paperwork was handled really smoothly, around a nice cup of coffee! We travel a lot and have rented a car in various places, but we have never experienced such great service as we received here. The owner is very nice, he explained everything in detail, how to drive safely, how to repair a wheel in case of problems, what the car is equipped with (and it was equipped with everything we needed and even more). We were given an extra sleeping bag and a blanket in case it was cold at night and beers for the first night at the campsite ;)! We had a very nice chat and coffee with the owner and the driver who took us to the airport when we returned the car. If we ever come back to Namibia we will definitely rent a car here again! The vehicle had lots of customised extras, like digital tyre pressure display and in car Wi-Fi (which is really effective) all of which made driving so much more enjoyable. He sorted us with a brand new Hilux with all the camping equipment you could need for exploring Namibia! We covered 2500 km with the peace of mind of 2 spare tyres, dual batteries and luxuries such as a fridge/freezer. The cars are very capable off road and also comfortable for long hours behind the wheel with cruise control and Apple car play. The roof top tents are so easy to setup and great to sleep in. We have found Namibia 4x4 Rentals through a google search and it was the first company to give us a very detailed and informative quote. It was very easy to communicate with them, they explained us everything before our travel, even arranged airport pick-up and a hostel for our first night in Windhoek. Before getting the car, we went through out route with them, and they gave us very useful advice about our route. We rented two tented 4x4 car from them and it had everything we needed, a fridge, all camping equipment, Wi-fi, binoculars, etc. All equipment were quite new, and the tents were very clean&comfortable, very easy to open and pack. The tires took us all the way through without even a puncture (3000 kms in 10 days). Robert kept in touch with us to see if everything was going fine. We have been extremely satisfied with their service and I definitely recommend Robert's company. Rian and Robert were super nice and helpful during the whole rental period, gave us tips and advice on our route and even included a gas cooker and some pots for free. The 4x4 itself was in perfect condition and we didn't have any problems with it. I can highly recommend this company and will rent there again if I come back to Namibia.
