We booked a 4x4 with tent on the roof for 2 people. Everything went so well, we were welcomed by Simon at the airport, he explained us everything and gave us so many advices. Then we met Robert, that gave us every explanations and gave us more advice regarding the itineray that we chose. The car war super clean and didn't get any issues. The tent was really nice and confortable. And the amount of element that were included was awesome, you really have everything but food. We definitely didn't miss any thing along our travel. Amazing experience, 100% recommended I've rented a 4×4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent with Go Rent Namibia and my experience was very good. Their cars are new, with everything you need for a smooth camping experience (and I really mean everything). Also, we felt very supported by their team on all steps of our trip (thank you Christina and Jessica!). During our 2-week drive we had a minor issue with 2 broken locks on the back of the car (this was not the company's fault) and their team immediately directed us to a car shop in the vicinity of our location, which fixed the problem in 30 minutes, free of charge. Fantastic! Robert is super helpful and very efficient. We chose our places to stay but he made all the bookings for us which removed the tedious administration. The vehicle was excellent and Robert threw in all sorts of extras - fridge, binoculars, table, chairs, gas cooker, cutler, pans etc. We had wi Fi in the vehicle. Thank you so much Robert for your amazing service! We loved our nissan that took us around for 6000 km between Namibia and Botswana in 18 days, and was just great! The camping equipment was super, the bed comfy and the rooftop tent very easy to open and close, and we really took advantage of the complementary binoculars, namibian simcard and wifi(18 GB!) We got no punctures in our wheels (special wheels that are almost impossible to puncture), but having the wheel monitor was an extrasafety which we really appreciated. Robert is always available and ready to help. One of our back car fenders broke but was covered by the insurance. After this amazing holiday we enjoyed one last night in the great apartment they have for rent, and enjoyed a day with Robert and his beautiful family. We had the best experience with this company, can thoroughly recommend. From the moment we arrived we received a free airport transfer, met the owner, had coffee and a chance to discuss our route and the owner , Robbert gave us loads of ideas on things like petrol stops etc. The car was fully equipped with everything we could need for 2 weeks and we had two spare tyres which we didnt need. The car was well maintained and we had no concerns during our journey.  We were also able to contact Robbert directly whilst en route with questions we had, which we did. Fantastic We rented a car with roof tent for three weeks and everything was fantastically arranged. The people are super friendly he is picked up and taken to the airport, a wifi box for the road, all the stuff you need to be able to camp are given. The insurance arranged to perfection. The explanation on receipt perfectly arranged. The roof tent slept wonderfully and is very easy to use. The car was new (20,000 km on the odometer). Go Rent Namibia met 100% of our expectations. It was a first time we traveled in such a way (home in a car), and we found Go Rent as highly experienced company - firstly answering quickly on lot of questions we had before our trip, later on explaining in details all the features of the car and equipment, keeping with quick contact in any questions we had during our travel. It made us to feel safe and comfortable during preparation to holidays and during whole travel through Namibia. All the team - Robert (Owner), Christina (Admin Manager) and Simon (our driver to and from the airport) were supportive, kind, and giving us a comfort of travelling through a part of the world we didn't know so far. 2-week Namibia Road Trip Go Rent Namibia provide a fantastic service. The car we rented was perfect for our two-week trip around Namibia. Everything was perfect: -transfer from the airport -new car with the nice smell inside -all new camping equipment -practically new A/T tires But the most important thing is that owners of this car rent not only give you the car, but help to plan you root day by day in Namibia. In addition to the quality of the Toyota 4x4 with a roof tent, equipped with more accessories than you could ever imagine, Robbie is an incredible person. After the renting was over, he gave us a car for free for the whole day, so we could get around Windhoek for a day since our flight was canceled. To top it one of his team even drove us to the airport! What more can we say? We have complete trust in him after seeing how he takes care of his customers, whom he turns into friends. Very good rental with great amenities Reservation by email very easy with a quote received within 24 hours with Christina. Airport transfer on arrival and Check-out included in the Award of the 4x4 Reservation with Simon. Very friendly driver who provided us with plenty of explanations. New casiment vehicle, with new tires of very good quality. The downs were warm, the pillows and mattresses were very comfortable. The tents in very good condition. All kitchen equipment was supplied kettle, coffee maker, pot, cutting board, sharp knife, salt pepper, crates to store everything. Camping chairs and tables with a stove and gas cartridges as well as the necessary for barbecue, grill, fire lighters. Tea towels and bath towels provided. A pair of binoculars X10 magnification provided as well as a gps with sim card 18 gb for the stay. Rechargeable lamps for the night. Robert provided us with a map with plenty of explanations about the route and the Presentation of the 4x4 with all the equipment. Available by phone throughout the trip. Servizio ottimo sia prima che durante il viaggio. Robert e i suoi collaboratori sono gentilissimi e ci hanno dato due numeri di telefono da contattare in caso di difficoltà, ai nostri messaggi hanno sempre risposto nell'arco di breve tempo. Sono venuti a prenderci in aeroporto e dopo averci offerto da bere il proprietario Robert ci ha dato alcuni ottimi consigli sulle strade da percorrere. L'auto era munita di tutto quello che avevamo bisogno: stoviglie, pentole, fornello a gas, un buon frigorifero con congelatore (noi ad inizio viaggio abbiamo comprato il giaccio che si è rivelato molto utile), tavolo, sedie,... Avevamo anche un apparecchio portatile con il WIFI (attenzione in Namibia si ha connessione solo nei centri abitati e sulle strade principali, vi consiglio dunque di scaricarvi le cartine di Google maps offline). Atención inmediata de la empresa para resolver cualquier duda y además lo más importante, en español. 5-star 4x4 rooftop tent car camping experience with Go Rent Namibia We had an incredible trip in our Toyota Hilux with rooftop tent and a great experience with Go Rent Namibia. When we arrived, we were picked up at the airport and the hand-over of the vehicle was smooth; the car was new and had high-quality tires, the tent worked perfectly and we had all the equipment we needed (except a dustpan and brush that they accidentally forgot to pack so we picked one up at the supermarket). We felt confident driving in this vehicle. The only thing we would suggest they add to the set-up would be a couple more pillows, as the ones we had were very thin.We read many reviews of other car companies that had bad equipment and fridges that broke down all the time - our fridge though was super reliable, it worked even when the car wasn't plugged into electric for 2-3 nights at a time. We had Apple carplay in the vehicle which was useful for Google maps and music, they also gave us a Namibian sim card for our phone, plus an internet dongle which could be plugged into the car, which provided us with wifi in most of the places we visited. It was great to have that in case of emergencies. Over the first 24 hours we had some questions about the tyre pressure monitor beeping but we were able to speak to Robert on Whatsapp and he explained everything. When we had a slash in one tyre later on in the trip, Robert even came to Swakopmund where we were staying to swap it out for us - great service. We also had a couple of nights left at the end of the trip in an apartment in Windhoek after dropping off the car - Robert kindly arranged for someone to come and take us to the airport on our last day, which was great. We loved our Namibia road trip and would highly recommend this company; we drove in a loop from Windhoek to Etosha, Spitzkoppe, Swakopmund, Sossusvlei and Kolmanskop, Quiver Tree Forest and back to Windhoek and would highly recommend this route - it took us 2 weeks. If you can/have time to do the extension down to Kolmanskop to see the ghost town, you should, it was a highlight of our trip. Thanks Robert!

Great rental experience. The car was bulletproof and handled everything we threw at it, the Nissan had proper 4wd with low range which really got us out of trouble in some soft sand at Sossusvlei. It also has proper off road tyres which make the rough roads a breeze and we had 0 punctures. The camping equipment included everything we needed for the trip although we only camped for a few nights and everything you might need to get out of trouble( tools, tyre inflator,puncture repair kit, two spares, water tank etc) , Rian even gave us some binoculars for game viewing. The airport transfer and collection/drop off was seamless. We were offered drinks and all of the equipment was demonstrated to us. Most of all Lorraine, Rian and Robert genuinely seemed like they just wanted us to have a great holiday which we absolutely did. Would definitely book again.

This review is long overdue. We can’t say enough about the owners and people who are GoRent. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive and helped us navigate some problematic situations on our trip. Before heading out, they spent time with us to review our self-drive plan through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, making valuable suggestions and stayed in touch via WhatsApp. Whatever we needed, they were there. The vehicle we originally rented was a Nissan but when we picked it up it turned out to be a Toyota Hilux which was a plus. The vehicle was almost new and in great condition. It performed beautifully and was extremely capable. This is the vehicle you want for Africa as the roads are often difficult to navigate once not on the main roads. The sand is deep and the roads narrow. The vehicle handled it effortlessly. The only comments for improvement we have is the gear and kitchen and how they are set up for travel was less than ideal and made food storage and prep highly unorganized. There should be additional bins providing valuable space for groceries and dry items. We were also provided with a gas stove that was powered by butane cannisters that were nearly impossible to find outside of Windhoek (every outlet sold regular propane gas bottles). The cannisters lasted a very short period of time. Thankfully we brought our own WindBurner system and found camping gas in the City before leaving and relied on the braai facilities at campsites. The refrigerator was not reliable and stopped working a few times. We managed to fix it each time, but it was extremely frustrating. We discussed these openly with the owners who were aware of some of these issues and are proactively working on better solutions. We are confident they will remedy these shortcomings as they are personally invested in the company and are an amazing group of people. We highly recommend them. For the family of GoRent, and a special thanks to Robert and Christina, if you are ever in Canada, we’d love to see you and thank you for all your help and support on our trip. Namibia round trip We rented the Toyota Hilux double cab for three and a half weeks and took it on a round trip. The car was in excellent condition, and we experienced no technical issues. It was equipped with everything necessary for a road trip. Robert and Christina were always available to answer any questions we had. An unforgettable time that would not have been possible without Go Namibia 4x4 Rentals Hello, i was in Africa over 10 times and my first trip in Namibia was a blast. I really can recommend to explore the land by 4x4 camping car, because everything is designed to see everything with that kind of travelstyle and everything is so easy to organize. Especially with Robert from Go Rent Namibia 4x4. We cam to work in Namibia from Germany, after we had finished, we had 5 days over. No rental company was so spontaneous, helpful, honest and clear as Go rental Namibia. We were contacting via whatsapp and got all information we need in hours. Robert and his crew was packing everything in 30minutes and after a really good and professional briefing about the car and the equipment, we could drive away immediately without any hussle and no loss of time. I never write reviews, but actually without this organisation, we would never have made this wonderful experience to see whole Namibia in 5 days. We drove long distances without any problems. That is not luck, but the company knows exactly what they do, how to prepare and build those car-setups and pack the things you really need on your journey. The equipment and materials used are high quality and designed to last a long time. That's why you feel completely comfortable and safe. But the contact and constant availability are simply invaluable. The personal and really friendly contact with Robert was so good that we are already planning our next Namibia tour with the whole family. Since we once again underestimated the routes in Namibia, it was really tight with the car return and our departure. It was only because of how quickly Robert completed the return and personal transfer to the airport that we were just able to hop on the plane. During our journey on the rough roads of Etosha , a small stone hit the windshield, causing a small crack. Due to the heat and vibrations , the crack started to grow. They arranged for a windshield replacement at a garage along our route, which was completed in just a couple of hours. The best 4x4 rental company in Windhoek If you are wondering where to book a rental 4x4 for your adventure in Namibia, this is the place. We contacted them about a week ago before arriving in Namibia. Little did we know that August is high season in Namibia and therefore many rental companies are fully booked. Thankfully Go Rent still had an awesome Ford Ranger 3.2 4x4. Christina was so helpful in the e-mail communication with quick response time, clear information and took her time to explain every detail. This made the difference for me, since other rental companies were slow and only focused to rent me a car as soon as possible. Rian and Robert were so amazing throughout the entire journey. Through all 13 days of our adventure, we new that if we had a doubt or any problem, they would do anything to sort us out. I can't express how grateful we are for this guys and their amazing service. Najlepsza wypożyczalnia w Namibii Polecam!polecam! I jeszcze raz polecam. Obsługa cudowna i bardzo pomocna. Linie lotnicze zgubiły mój bagaż, nie było czasu na czekanie bo plan podróży i rezerwację noclegow zrobione wcześniej. Zaproponowali odebranie mojego bagażu z lotniska i nadanie go do miejscowości gdzie będziemy się zatrzymywać. Uratowało to nasz plan za co jestem bardzo wdzięczna. Samochód przygotowany perfekcyjnie, wszystko czego nam potrzeba na campingach było, namioty pościel wszystko przygotowane idealnie. Wi fi w aucie. Podróżowalismy tym autem 3 tygodnie, obsługa przygotowała nam dokumenty na inne kraje więc spokojnie mogliśmy przekraczać granice. Full professionalism and well-prepared new cars. Perfectly selected tire pressure allowed me to avoid a puncture on the 4,000 km route :) They helped me recover my laptop, which I forgot to take with me from my last overnight stay. wir hatten uns bei robert und seiner firma einen toyota hillux 4x4 gemietet für 14 tage. das auto wurde uns blitzsauber übergeben und alle technischen sachen wurde top erklärt. versicherung und alle fragen die das thema betreffen werden auch ausführlich erklärt. wir hatten auf unserer tour keine technischen pannen oder reifenplatzer oder sonstiges. in namibia kommt es auf ein top auto an, sonst kann der urlaub auch schnell mal nervenaufreibend werden. läuft das auto, läuft auch der rest. man fährt oft weite strecken und dazu auch noch alleine, sprich ohne jeden gegenverkehr oder ortschaften. robert bietet auch das buchen von unterkünften an! zudem kann man sim karten und wlan für das auto dazu buchen. kostet natürlich ein paar euro mehr, aber lohnt sich auf jeden fall. fast das ganze land ist lte technisch gut abgedeckt. alles in allem ein top erlebnis!!!! nicht zu empfehlen ist discover airline. am 3. jan sollte der rückflug sein, tatsächlich wurden aber erst am 8. januar rückflüge organisiert. angeblich einer der beiden flieger kaputt. auf der strecke gibt es aber schon ca. 1 jahr probleme. das nur am rande. schönen urlaub allen reisenden! ronny aus hamburg

The key word here is “trust.” They trust you from the start, and (at least in my opinion) you can trust them too. I completely agree with all the positive reviews. We did have a small issue on the first day — a check-engine light and a temporary drop in power — but it was handled quickly. Although the problem went away by itself, the car was replaced the next day as a precaution and the new one delivered straight to our campsite. Other than that, everything went smoothly. Robert and the company are genuinely trustworthy ( and I don’t say this that often), cars and tents are in good condition. Last but not least - Namibia is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Excellent service and meticulously prepared vehicle with gears for a camping experience in Namibia We rental a 4x4 from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 for our 20 days tour of Namibia. Correspondence between Christina was prompt and they provided free sim cards for our phones which was indeed very handy. The car was meticulously prepared to include towel for shower, toilet papers, seasoning for meat and dishwasher cleaning kit. They provided extra sleeping bags in case it gotten too cold as we rented during the winter month which did come in handy. The only complaint we had is the pillow - too small and too soft but we could understand the rational for having such a pillow, as the entire bedding kit folded in with the tentco when it was kept. Can’t say enough about how amazing this trip was for us! Thank you all at Go Rent! The team is super professional, Robert goes the extra mile to ensure all arrangements were in place ahead of our arrival in Windhoek. Rian picked us up without any hassle and had some great advice this being our first Namibia trip. I will most definitely reach out to them in the future and discuss the planned route especially if you decide to set off on day one. I did not anticipate the earlier sunset in the winter and we could quickly formed a plan to ensure we arrive in time. Rian left us a care package which among other things included braai spice and coffee. This came in super handy on the first two days until we could restock! The wifi and live tyre pressure monitors were thrown in free of charge which made our trip as novices feel safer as well as allow us to make arrangements on the way. All the equipment was new or in excellent condition. I was very impressed with the Nissan, its power, comfort and fuel consumption was on point! We never felt like we needed anything, these guys know what they are doing and have thought of it all. Fill up the onboard fridge running both AC/DC and you are off to enjoy the beauty of Africa. You made what I had thought for many years to be inaccessible very easy and it resulted in a game changing holiday experience. I can only recommend ! I have no word to describe how incredible the adventure in this car was ! 13 nights during which we drove from south to north of Namibia. Tent and car were amazing. I can only recommend you this company! During the month of September in the south and along the coast, temperatures were low at night and in the morning, but thanks to blankets and sleeping bags included in the price, nights were much more confortable.The service during the stay was perfect thanks to Robert. He was available at anytime for any question or issue we could have. A completely magical experience. Namibia is an amazing place to drive around, and I would recommend everyone to do it. However, when you're coming from far away and need to rent a car, it’s always a bit nerve-wracking. You’re not sure about the insurance, the large deposit, etc. The process with GoRent was perfect. When you talk to Robert and Christina, you can tell they have a genuine interest in making everything easy, and straightforward. And much respect for Robert's availability. If there was the slightest issue with the car, we could always contact him. Simon, the driver, provided excellent service in terms of taking us to the bus when we had to continue our journey from Windhoek. Outstanding car rental and lovely owner We had an incredible experience for 18 days around Namibia expecially thanks to the owner of Go Rent and the outstanding service they provide.The owner Robert is such a good and friendly person...and definitely very professional.He run his company in an impeccable way together with his staff Christina and Simon.As it was a last minute decision we booked our flight and the car just 2 weeks before and we haven't had time to make a proper itinerary, we basically didn't know so much about Namibia, but thanks to Robert and the usefull suggestions and tips that he gave us we had a memorable trip that we will never forget.The car was just perfect, new and very well mantained. Desde el principio todo fue muy bien. Teníamos bastantes dudas con el tema del alquiler del vehículo, porque hay muchas compañías en Windhoek Y finalmente nos decantamos por esta, porque Robert estuvo muy pendiente de resolver nuestras dudas. Christina nos ayudó también con el pago (a veces no es fácil hacer pagos online desde España a Namibia). El coche que nos recomendaron fue una auténtica maravilla, pudimos andar con él por todos lados, Recomiendo que le comentéis la ruta que tenéis pensada antes de seleccionar el coche para aseguraros de que vais a ir bien y sin problemas. El coche estaba súper equipado, no nos faltó de nada y no tuvimos ningún problema en nuestras tres semanas. Simon nos recogió en el aeropuerto y ya nos dió indicaciones al llegar para sacar dinero, movernos y conocimientos básicos del coche y del tráfico, así como una charla muy amena; aunque la oficina no está en el aeropuerto, nos recogieron y nos llevaron y todo fue sobre ruedas. We reserved a 4x4 Nissan with a rooftop tent at Go Rent for 22 days to travel through Namibia and Botswana. Prior to our trip, we received several videos, such as how to change a tire. After our flight, we were picked up by one of their drivers, who took us to the hotel they had arranged for us. The next day, we were picked up and taken to their office to collect the car. Although there had been a small issue, with only one night booked, they quickly arranged an extra night for us. The welcome was friendly, and Robert patiently went through our route, providing tips for restaurants, advice on which roads were good or less accessible, and gave us travel tips. This last advice led us to adjust our route slightly, and they arranged a new campsite for us. He thoroughly explained the car and gave us tips and tricks to travel safely. The car was equipped with everything we needed for our trip, from plates/cutlery to various pans, gas bottles, tools to change the tire, headlamps, binoculars, and a Wi-Fi router. We had some issues with the Wi-Fi router, but this was quickly resolved, and extra data was added at no extra charge. It was great how they thought along with us. Throughout the trip, Robert was easy to reach if we had any questions, and he responded quickly. The rooftop tent was comfortable, with plenty of blankets, so we never got cold. We ended up driving over 5,000 kilometers without any problems with the car. Upon our return, we were once again warmly welcomed, and the car was received with full trust. We were allowed to keep the SIM card for one last day, and Simon took us to the pub we wanted to visit. The next day, he picked us up from our hotel and took us to the airport. Best Car Rental Ever This is how car rental should be! Excellent service. Unfortunately our arrival at Windhoek Airport was delayed for 14 hours. Originally it was planned to go shopping and fill up the car with drinks and snacks. Due to the delay this was no more possible. So Robert from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 did all the shopping for us and parked the car full with drinks and snacks in front of our hotel, so that we could start our trip the next day. Esperienza bellissima con Go Rent Namibia, i proprietari sono stati davvero gentili con noi, dandoci informazioni dettagliate sui posti da visitare, ristoranti e attività da fare in ogni luogo. La macchina era super equipaggiata, non abbiamo avuto alcun problema. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare una macchina con loro se intendete fare un road trip in Namibia. Robert, Simon e tutto il suo staff sono stati fantastici!
