No nos faltaba de nada y todo en muy buenas condiciones. El coche y las tiendas muy cómodas. Además éramos 5 personas y nos pusieron una tienda de camping extra para mayor comodidad. Robert ha estado atento en todo momento por si necesitábamos algo , nos mandaba vídeos explicativos con el uso de todo y también nos dieron una explicación en persona. Valentina Caruso27 September 2024I had a great experience with this company. The car was brand-new (even upgraded vs what I had booked), the camping equipment complete. I had everything I needed and more. Christina assisted me in a thorough and friendly way during enquiry phase and booking. Simon was a friendly driver both from and to the airport. Finally, Robert gave me complete info about the car and suggestions on the itinerary. The only issue I had on the trip (rental unrelated) was the classic tyre puncture. When that happened communication with Robert was prompt and efficient. As he accidentally was in the same area I was he even dropped by to make sure everything was fixed properly. The car equipment was very good. The camping equipment was in good, new condition and the bed linen was clean. The car was explained to us well so we had no problems with the handling. I would recommend sleeping there for one night. Rooms are also offered there (Castel View Suites). This way you can start your holiday relaxed. There is also a supermarket nearby. Jake7 June 2025Excellent experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. We were pickup at the airport by Simon (who’s incredibly friendly and helpful) just outside customs. Seamless and smooth transition to the hq and met Robert. This guy is running an awesome business and the vehicles all looked in great condition. We had a newer Hilux raider with all the basic recovery equipment, two spares, tire pressure gauge, binoculars for game spotting, cooler, and the truck was equipped with aftermarket TPMS for extra peace of mind. Spent more than a week driving dirt roads, some sand, and eventually back onto tarmac. Vehicle worked great, and Robert was quick to respond via WhatsApp. Oh yeah, they also included a portable WiFi connection and backup sim for emergencies. Michael B29 October 2024Fantastic car and service. Rented a 2024 Toyota Hilux 4x4 with go rent Namiba. We travelled the country for 16 days. From the moment of contact to day of retuen we were ment with professionalism and freindly staff willing to go above and beyond. We were offered lots of advice on our choosen route and alternatibe routes we could take. Everything qas easy from being picked up at the airport to being dropped back off. The roof box tent was very easy to assemble and very comfortable. We had every bit of equipment that we could need and was provided internet so we could use internet and contact the owners for any help at any point. Mein Mann und ich haben ein Auto von Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals gemietet und sind mit dem Auto kreuz und quer durch Namibia gefahren. Eine Reise mit dem Auto ist, wahrscheinlich, die einzige Möglichkeit zu reisen da. Und ohne Auto kommt man nicht in ein Naturpark rein! Da ist es streng verboten (und gefährlich) aus dem Auto auszusteigen!Also, wir könnten in Namibia reisen und den Naturpark Etosha und die Küste besichtigen. In Etosha haben wir unglaublich viele Tieren gesehen, die man sonst nur aus einem Zoo Besucht kennt - Elephanten, Giraffen und anderen. Es war einfach atemberaubend! Es gibt Campinge im Park, allerdings muss man rechtzeitig reinkommen, mit dem Sonnenuntergang werden sie geschlossen. Am Anfang haben wir Angst gehabt, ob wir alles gut hinkriegen, abet das Zelt Aufbauen war sehr leicht, weil die Zelt auf dem Dach platziert war. Auspacken, auf der Leitung ziehen - und fertig! Richtig faszinierend! Neben alle unsere Campingplätze gab es Wasserlösliche, zu die Tieren zum Trinken kommen. Wir konnten die Tieren Tags und Nachts beobachten. Faszinierend!Und unser Auto hat uns das Leben leicht gemacht, weil da einfach alles, was man brauch, drin war.Wir können das Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals jeden empfehlen. Übrigens, die Besitzer, Rian und Robert, sind sehr sympathische Menschen, mit sie man auch so, nicht nur geschäftlich, gerne unterhält. The flexibility that was afforded to us really helped as we had two quick turn-arounds due to flight times. The car was great, we really enjoyed the Hilux. Super safe and easy to drive. The truck was in immaculate shape and the added wifi and Apple car play in the car was a life saver. My boyfriend and I had never been to Namibia before, so we’re anticipating our trip with a bit of uncertainty. However from the moment Robert picked us up from the airport we felt relaxed. eter nauta5 May 2026Fantastic rental company, very friendly and helpful owners and staff. I rented a hilux camping for 1 pax. It was all in perfect working order. It's not all brand new, but what's more important is the quality of the equipment. The tyres chosen are very hard to puncture and excellent quality, the suspension very resilient. The roof tent was good and sturdy, help massive rain storm nicely. For a single person the kitchen items in boxes instead to pullout drawers may not be ideal as you have to log around the boxed, but I am sure there are downsides to the drawer system as well. Due to an unusual emergency I had to shorten the trip. The owner were very understanding and incredibly helpful. Thanks so much. My wife and I spent 7 days renting a dual cab Hilux with rooftop tent from Go Rent. The vehicle was modern and spotless, with new and well maintained equipment (including portable WiFi and remote tyre pressure sensors) and thoughtful little details that make life on the trail a bit easier (eg fridge/freezer on separate battery circuit, full cast iron cookware, washing up liquid and brush, fire-lighting kit with head torch). Go Rent is a family business and Robert has a friendly, easygoing, client-centric approach. In a true sense, he takes his clients under his wing and does his best to ensure that they have the best possible experience. He arranged transfers for us from WDH and offered us cold drinks and a leisurely chat about our plans, offering his own ideas and support. Robert took time and care to explain his equipment and to ensure we felt confident and safe. Upon check-out, Robert even offered to let us quickly borrow another vehicle to go to the shops down the road, after we had returned our vehicle for another client. Linie lotnicze zgubiły mój bagaż, nie było czasu na czekanie bo plan podróży i rezerwację noclegow zrobione wcześniej. Zaproponowali odebranie mojego bagażu z lotniska i nadanie go do miejscowości gdzie będziemy się zatrzymywać. Uratowało to nasz plan za co jestem bardzo wdzięczna. Samochód przygotowany perfekcyjnie, wszystko czego nam potrzeba na campingach było, namioty pościel wszystko przygotowane idealnie. Wi fi w aucie. Podróżowalismy tym autem 3 tygodnie, obsługa przygotowała nam dokumenty na inne kraje więc spokojnie mogliśmy przekraczać granice. Odbiór z lotniska i transfer na lotnisko, kontakt w każdym momencie jeśli tylko jest potrzeba. The rooftop tents were unbelievably comfortable — I even slept better there than in some lodges — and setting up took us less than 10 minutes. Zu erwähnen gilt auch, dass ein WLAN im Auto dabei ist und man sich das kaufen der SIM Karte spart. Wenn es Probleme geben sollte ist jemand immer erreichbar und versucht dieses zu lösen. After almost not having any vacation this year, I started booking accommodation in Namibia with just a week in advance , and given that this is peak season, I knew I would be limited to the type of vehicle I would get from some impersonal rental service at the airport. I had that experience before, and so even without any hope I tried reaching for this company. All their cars were already taken, but they moved mountains to get me the perfect car, and my dream trip with my two boys was made possible through the efforts of Go Rent. I got a brand new Toyota Hilux fully equipped for the most demanding terrain this country threw at us. It had all the gear to be safe and enjoy the trip, even the small, but very important, details as providing a Wi-Fi device so we were connected the whole time, double diesel tank, air compressor…etc etc…to make the 2.200 km we did during a week the best road trip money can buy. With friendly advice from Robert that is also an overlander, and not just a vehicle renter, and the very nice driver that picked us at the airport . Exceptional services and best quality vehicle 4x4 that we rented was exceptional, perfectly equipped for our family trip (2 adults, 3 children). Each tent had a comfortable mattress, with pillows, duvets and sleeping bags provided - a real comfort. The service was impeccable, with detailed explanations from the beginning. Everything was clean, complete and well prepared. Robert and Ryan delivered the jeep to our hotel and gave us a very good introduction. They were always available by whatsapp. There are some extraoridnary good features: there is a permanent tyre pressure control in the car - this is a very good safety feature. Our Ford Ranger was phenomenal; it was very clean when we picked it up and everything worked perfectly. Ryan picked us up from the airport and was super friendly, explaining everything we needed to know about the car. Robert was also so nice and helped us with everything we required. They are always reachable by WhatsApp and gave us fantastic tips for our road trip. I will rent a car with Go Rent for my next trip to Namibia. Sam Stocks29 September 2023First and foremost, Namibia is the most beautiful country I have ever visited. Renting a truck with tents on top is the only way of seeing everything the huge country has to offer whilst remaining flexible in terms of timings (which is helpful). We rented an excellent Nissan truck with two tents on top. The car was very reliable and we never had an issue (we saw lots of people with punctures but due to some high spec tyres which are more puncture resistant and give pressure readings live to the dash this wasn’t a problem for us). The cars are equipped with everything you could ever wish for; large fridge, WiFi, Garmin, cooking equipment, the list goes on). The roof tents are ultra comfortable and spacious. We planned to spend a few nights at lodges but ended up not doing so given how comfortable the tents were. Could not recommend Namibia 4X4 highly enough!Posted on Google

Peter and Robert really took the time to explain everything. They gave us tips on the route we were going to take and were always available for questions. They are flexible and friendly. Also the airport transfer was very nice. Our friendly driver Simon took us quickly and safely from the airport to wind corner and back. I would recommend Go Rent Namibia 4x4 rentals to anyone. She accommodated me as I was helping my family in New Zealand, hire Utes for their visit over here to see me beginning of November. Unfortunately we got devastating news that my mother had a sudden diagnosis of significant heart failure a week and a half before my family’s trip over here. I contacted Alicia immediately, not knowing how that would go with the cancellation and their refund policy. Go rentals refunded us our whole deposit without the cancellation fee on top. In tears actually about how helpful and assisting they were in such a devastating time for me and my family. Thank you Go rentals, if I could give you a million star rating I would. 😭Posted on Google

The car was practically new and in perfect condition. It carries all the necessary equipment and much more, for example, WIFI, binoculars, all kinds of junk and cooking utensils, flashlight...etc. and what to say about Robert, the owner of the company. Excellent treatment, honest person, helps you in everything, and if you have any problems, or doubts, you can always contact him. The rental also includes transfer to and from the airport. Captain Cyclops31 October 2023We recently stayed in Namibia for 2 weeks and rented a 4x4 at GoRent Namibia 4x4 Rentals to explore (only a fraction of) this amazingly beautiful country. The experience was GREAT! We were picked up at the airport in Windhoek by Rian - a very nice and friendly guy. Once at the office/pickup location we met Robert where we had a very nice conversation with him and Rian until we were given a detailed introduction to our driving home for the next 2 weeks. The car was clean and in top shape, as was the roof top tent and the camping equipment that came with the car (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). During our trip we saw amazing landscapes, animals and met great people. Unfortunately though, we ran into some issues with the ignition lock that got stuck so it took us like 20min to turn on the car, as well as a dead fridge battery just days before entering Etosha National Park. Fortunately, we could rely on Rian's support. After WhatsApping him, we found us pulling into his friend Philipp's repair shop in Outjo after just a few hours driving from Uis - of course without turning off the engine ;) They repaired the defective lock and replaced the fridge battery within a few hours while we were running some errands downtown. fbroquier10 August 2024Perfect 4x4 Rental to visit Namibia ⭐️ Thanks to the whole team - 4x4 was perfect: new , very well equipped, everything is thought out, nothing is missing , in every detail (fridge of course , tables , chairs , all kitchen utensils, gas stove ...) . The 4x4 is very comfortable. The rooftop tents are easy to use and very convenient. Even when there are 2 tents. We slept well, the mattress and pillows are comfortable - perfect service: the whole Robert team is smiling, friendly and efficient (Christina, Simon and Robert of course) . Everything is explained, they take the time, are available. Including Robert 👍🏻 Top service: at the airport both outbound and return , pick up the vehicle, and available via whatsapp during the trip if needed We left at 3 (2 adults and 1 teenager) for 17 days and drove 3400 km. Lea Benjamin22 April 2025This review is long overdue. We can’t say enough about the owners and people who are GoRent. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive and helped us navigate some problematic situations on our trip. Before heading out, they spent time with us to review our self-drive plan through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, making valuable suggestions and stayed in touch via WhatsApp. Whatever we needed, they were there. The vehicle we originally rented was a Nissan but when we picked it up it turned out to be a Toyota Hilux which was a plus. The vehicle was almost new and in great condition. It performed beautifully and was extremely capable. This is the vehicle you want for Africa as the roads are often difficult to navigate once not on the main roads. The sand is deep and the roads narrow. The vehicle handled it effortlessly. The only comments for improvement we have is the gear and kitchen and how they are set up for travel was less than ideal and made food storage and prep highly unorganized. There should be additional bins providing valuable space for groceries and dry items. We were also provided with a gas stove that was powered by butane cannisters that were nearly impossible to find outside of Windhoek (every outlet sold regular propane gas bottles). The cannisters lasted a very short period of time. Thankfully we brought our own WindBurner system and found camping gas in the City before leaving and relied on the braai facilities at campsites. The refrigerator was not reliable and stopped working a few times. We managed to fix it each time, but it was extremely frustrating. We discussed these openly with the owners who were aware of some of these issues and are proactively working on better solutions. We are confident they will remedy these shortcomings as they are personally invested in the company and are an amazing group of people. We highly recommend them. For the family of GoRent, and a special thanks to Robert and Christina, if you are ever in Canada, we’d love to see you and thank you for all your help and support on our trip. Ronny Friedrich6 January 2025wir hatten uns bei robert und seiner firma einen toyota hillux 4x4 gemietet für 14 tage. das auto wurde uns blitzsauber übergeben und alle technischen sachen wurde top erklärt. versicherung und alle fragen die das thema betreffen werden auch ausführlich erklärt. wir hatten auf unserer tour keine technischen pannen oder reifenplatzer oder sonstiges. in namibia kommt es auf ein top auto an, sonst kann der urlaub auch schnell mal nervenaufreibend werden. läuft das auto, läuft auch der rest. man fährt oft weite strecken und dazu auch noch alleine, sprich ohne jeden gegenverkehr oder ortschaften. robert bietet auch das buchen von unterkünften an! zudem kann man sim karten und wlan für das auto dazu buchen. kostet natürlich ein paar euro mehr, aber lohnt sich auf jeden fall. fast das ganze land ist lte technisch gut abgedeckt. alles in allem ein top erlebnis!!!! nicht zu empfehlen ist discover airline. am 3. jan sollte der rückflug sein, tatsächlich wurden aber erst am 8. januar rückflüge organisiert. angeblich einer der beiden flieger kaputt. auf der strecke gibt es aber schon ca. 1 jahr probleme. das nur am rande. schönen urlaub allen reisenden! ronny aus hamburgPosted on Tripadvisor

A big part of what made this trip special and memorable was the extraordinary service and hospitality provided by Robert and his team. The vehicle was almost brand new, spotless, extremely comfortable and suited to the extremely tough road conditions a of Namibia. Robert not only gave us a local SIM card so we had cellphone coverage but an in-car WiFi that ensured we had access to Google maps which we desperately needed to navigate sometimes very remote areas. We were pickup at the airport by Simon (who’s incredibly friendly and helpful) just outside customs. Seamless and smooth transition to the hq and met Robert. This guy is running an awesome business and the vehicles all looked in great condition. We had a newer Hilux raider with all the basic recovery equipment, two spares, tire pressure gauge, binoculars for game spotting, cooler, and the truck was equipped with aftermarket TPMS for extra peace of mind. Spent more than a week driving dirt roads, some sand, and eventually back onto tarmac. Vehicle worked great, and Robert was quick to respond via WhatsApp. Oh yeah, they also included a portable WiFi connection and backup sim for emergencies. Mein Mann und ich haben ein Auto von Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals gemietet und sind mit dem Auto kreuz und quer durch Namibia gefahren. Eine Reise mit dem Auto ist, wahrscheinlich, die einzige Möglichkeit zu reisen da. Und ohne Auto kommt man nicht in ein Naturpark rein! Da ist es streng verboten (und gefährlich) aus dem Auto auszusteigen!Also, wir könnten in Namibia reisen und den Naturpark Etosha und die Küste besichtigen. In Etosha haben wir unglaublich viele Tieren gesehen, die man sonst nur aus einem Zoo Besucht kennt - Elephanten, Giraffen und anderen. Es war einfach atemberaubend! Es gibt Campinge im Park, allerdings muss man rechtzeitig reinkommen, mit dem Sonnenuntergang werden sie geschlossen. Am Anfang haben wir Angst gehabt, ob wir alles gut hinkriegen, abet das Zelt Aufbauen war sehr leicht, weil die Zelt auf dem Dach platziert war. Auspacken, auf der Leitung ziehen - und fertig! Richtig faszinierend! Neben alle unsere Campingplätze gab es Wasserlösliche, zu die Tieren zum Trinken kommen. Wir konnten die Tieren Tags und Nachts beobachten. Faszinierend!Und unser Auto hat uns das Leben leicht gemacht, weil da einfach alles, was man brauch, drin war.Wir können das Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals jeden empfehlen. It's not all brand new, but what's more important is the quality of the equipment. The tyres chosen are very hard to puncture and excellent quality, the suspension very resilient. The roof tent was good and sturdy, help massive rain storm nicely. For a single person the kitchen items in boxes instead to pullout drawers may not be ideal as you have to log around the boxed, but I am sure there are downsides to the drawer system as well. Due to an unusual emergency I had to shorten the trip. The owner were very understanding and incredibly helpful. Thanks so much. The vehicle was modern and spotless, with new and well maintained equipment (including portable WiFi and remote tyre pressure sensors) and thoughtful little details that make life on the trail a bit easier (eg fridge/freezer on separate battery circuit, full cast iron cookware, washing up liquid and brush, fire-lighting kit with head torch). After almost not having any vacation this year, I started booking accommodation in Namibia with just a week in advance , and given that this is peak season, I knew I would be limited to the type of vehicle I would get from some impersonal rental service at the airport. I had that experience before, and so even without any hope I tried reaching for this company. All their cars were already taken, but they moved mountains to get me the perfect car, and my dream trip with my two boys was made possible through the efforts of Go Rent. I got a brand new Toyota Hilux fully equipped for the most demanding terrain this country threw at us. It had all the gear to be safe and enjoy the trip, even the small, but very important, details as providing a Wi-Fi device so we were connected the whole time, double diesel tank, air compressor…etc etc…to make the 2.200 km we did during a week the best road trip money can buy. With friendly advice from Robert that is also an overlander, and not just a vehicle renter, and the very nice driver that picked us at the airport . Renting a truck with tents on top is the only way of seeing everything the huge country has to offer whilst remaining flexible in terms of timings (which is helpful). We rented an excellent Nissan truck with two tents on top. The car was very reliable and we never had an issue (we saw lots of people with punctures but due to some high spec tyres which are more puncture resistant and give pressure readings live to the dash this wasn’t a problem for us). The cars are equipped with everything you could ever wish for; large fridge, WiFi, Garmin, cooking equipment, the list goes on). The roof tents are ultra comfortable and spacious. We planned to spend a few nights at lodges but ended up not doing so given how comfortable the tents were. She accommodated me as I was helping my family in New Zealand, hire Utes for their visit over here to see me beginning of November. Unfortunately we got devastating news that my mother had a sudden diagnosis of significant heart failure a week and a half before my family’s trip over here. I contacted Alicia immediately, not knowing how that would go with the cancellation and their refund policy. Go rentals refunded us our whole deposit without the cancellation fee on top. In tears actually about how helpful and assisting they were in such a devastating time for me and my family. The experience was GREAT! We were picked up at the airport in Windhoek by Rian - a very nice and friendly guy. Once at the office/pickup location we met Robert where we had a very nice conversation with him and Rian until we were given a detailed introduction to our driving home for the next 2 weeks. The car was clean and in top shape, as was the roof top tent and the camping equipment that came with the car (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). During our trip we saw amazing landscapes, animals and met great people. Unfortunately though, we ran into some issues with the ignition lock that got stuck so it took us like 20min to turn on the car, as well as a dead fridge battery just days before entering Etosha National Park. Fortunately, we could rely on Rian's support. After WhatsApping him, we found us pulling into his friend Philipp's repair shop in Outjo after just a few hours driving from Uis - of course without turning off the engine ;) They repaired the defective lock and replaced the fridge battery within a few hours while we were running some errands downtown. Thank you for you kind support!!! After an amazing 2 weeks, we sadly returned the car in Windhoek and were dropped off at the airport by Rian again. We can’t say enough about the owners and people who are GoRent. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive and helped us navigate some problematic situations on our trip. Before heading out, they spent time with us to review our self-drive plan through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, making valuable suggestions and stayed in touch via WhatsApp. Whatever we needed, they were there. The vehicle we originally rented was a Nissan but when we picked it up it turned out to be a Toyota Hilux which was a plus. The vehicle was almost new and in great condition. It performed beautifully and was extremely capable. This is the vehicle you want for Africa as the roads are often difficult to navigate once not on the main roads. The sand is deep and the roads narrow. The vehicle handled it effortlessly. The only comments for improvement we have is the gear and kitchen and how they are set up for travel was less than ideal and made food storage and prep highly unorganized. There should be additional bins providing valuable space for groceries and dry items. We were also provided with a gas stove that was powered by butane cannisters that were nearly impossible to find outside of Windhoek (every outlet sold regular propane gas bottles). The cannisters lasted a very short period of time. Thankfully we brought our own WindBurner system and found camping gas in the City before leaving and relied on the braai facilities at campsites. The refrigerator was not reliable and stopped working a few times. We managed to fix it each time, but it was extremely frustrating. We discussed these openly with the owners who were aware of some of these issues and are proactively working on better solutions. We are confident they will remedy these shortcomings as they are personally invested in the company and are an amazing group of people. We highly recommend them. For the family of GoRent, and a special thanks to Robert and Christina, if you are ever in Canada, we’d love to see you and thank you for all your help and support on our trip. We have some great suggestions, and secret stops to share with you if you visit in our country. Kindest regards, Roger & Lea (Toronto, Canada)Posted on GoogleRonny Friedrich6 January 2025wir hatten uns bei robert und seiner firma einen toyota hillux 4x4 gemietet für 14 tage. das auto wurde uns blitzsauber übergeben und alle technischen sachen wurde top erklärt. versicherung und alle fragen die das thema betreffen werden auch ausführlich erklärt. wir hatten auf unserer tour keine technischen pannen oder reifenplatzer oder sonstiges. in namibia kommt es auf ein top auto an, sonst kann der urlaub auch schnell mal nervenaufreibend werden. läuft das auto, läuft auch der rest. man fährt oft weite strecken und dazu auch noch alleine, sprich ohne jeden gegenverkehr oder ortschaften. robert bietet auch das buchen von unterkünften an! zudem kann man sim karten und wlan für das auto dazu buchen. kostet natürlich ein paar euro mehr, aber lohnt sich auf jeden fall. fast das ganze land ist lte technisch gut abgedeckt. alles in allem ein top erlebnis!!!! nicht zu empfehlen ist discover airline. am 3. jan sollte der rückflug sein, tatsächlich wurden aber erst am 8. januar rückflüge organisiert. angeblich einer der beiden flieger kaputt. auf der strecke gibt es aber schon ca. 1 jahr probleme. das nur am rande. schönen urlaub allen reisenden! ronny aus hamburgPosted on TripadvisorGiovanni D29 August 2024Namibia trip Exceptional rental company, Robert very professional and helpful, gave us all the information we needed for our vacation. A big part of what made this trip special and memorable was the extraordinary service and hospitality provided by Robert and his team. The vehicle was almost brand new, spotless, extremely comfortable and suited to the extremely tough road conditions a of Namibia. Robert not only gave us a local SIM card so we had cellphone coverage but an in-car WiFi that ensured we had access to Google maps which we desperately needed to navigate sometimes very remote areas.
