From the complimetary airport transfer, refreshments and orientation for the vehicle and road conditions, you are met with friendliness, courtesy and efficiency. The vehicle was fun and reliable, able to effectively deal with all the varying terrain we encountered. The camping equipment provided proved efficient. From basic spices to bedding, everything was carefully considered. Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals made our visit special. Diogo Guimarães27 March 2026I've rented a 4×4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent with Go Rent Namibia and my experience was very good. Their cars are new, with everything you need for a smooth camping experience (and I really mean everything). Also, we felt very supported by their team on all steps of our trip (thank you Christina and Jessica!). During our 2-week drive we had a minor issue with 2 broken locks on the back of the car (this was not the company's fault) and their team immediately directed us to a car shop in the vicinity of our location, which fixed the problem in 30 minutes, free of charge. Go Rent Namibia is the the perfect example of a local company which provides an exceptional level of service at a very fair price, I 100% recommend choosing this company if you want to rent a 4×4 to drive around Namibia.Posted on Google

After the renting was over, he gave us a car for free for the whole day, so we could get around Windhoek for a day since our flight was canceled. To top it one of his team even drove us to the airport! What more can we say? We have complete trust in him after seeing how he takes care of his customers, whom he turns into friends. Katherine Landuyt22 July 2026Namibia is thé destination for a roadtrip and we are happy we have chosen Go Rent Namibia for the rental of a Hilux wth 2 manual rooftents. Once you have set it up once or twice you can set it up in no time. Most important to us was the state of the car and the tyres. We drove around for 3 weeks without any problems. Robert gave us good advice on the road condition alerts. The road between Noordoever and Aus showed on google maps as closed due floodings 10 days earlier. He said roads get usally fixed fast and there is usually a way around it. He was right. Most other roads were in great conditions. The wifi box in the car is a convenient extra. We also downloaded our itinerary on maps.me for the stretches were you are out of wifi reach.Posted on Google

Robert, Rian and the rest of the team go out of their way to make your once in a lifetime trip the best and safest it can be. From pre-departure advice and support, to being dropped off at the airport at the end, the service was outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a Nissan NP300 with two roof top tents, new off road tyres, tyre monitors, GPS, WiFi, satellite phone, fridge and everything else you could need for our adventure which saw me and my daughter driving 4500km around Namibia and Botswana over 4 weeks. Lisa14 June 2025I don’t usually leave reviews on Google Maps or TripAdvisor, but I’m making an exception because the experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals was truly outstanding. We were a group of nine students and were warmly welcomed by Robert and Simon, who took great care of us from start to finish. The free airport transfer to our accommodation and the following day’s ride to the agency made things so smooth. Each car came with a Wi-Fi hotspot and a local SIM card. All the camping equipment was included: sleeping bags, pillows, utensils, lamps, chairs, tables, and more. Robert even added a tent, mattress, and extra bedding free of charge so that no one had to sleep in the car. Binoculars and walkie-talkies were also thoughtfully provided. Moreover, Robert reviewed our itinerary with us and gave valuable advice on places to visit. On the day of our return, we unfortunately hit a warthog. With very limited time before our flight, Robert was incredibly responsive, guided us through remote repair steps with video instructions, and ensured we didn’t miss our flight. The customer service was excellent throughout. I highly recommend this agency for its flexibility, kindness, and professionalism ☺️ A special mention for international students: no extra charge for additional drivers and no strict delay required between license issuance and driving the vehicle, an agency that truly understands and supports young travelers.Posted on Tripadvisor

Dopo un caffè e una spiegazione dettagliata sul percorso e sul funzionamento del veicolo, ci è stato consegnato un Toyota Hilux in ottime condizioni e completo di tutto. Line TR28 September 2024I have no word to describe how incredible the adventure in this car was ! 13 nights during which we drove from south to north of Namibia. Tent and car were amazing. I can only recommend you this company! During the month of September in the south and along the coast, temperatures were low at night and in the morning, but thanks to blankets and sleeping bags included in the price, nights were much more confortable. The service during the stay was perfect thanks to Robert. He was available at anytime for any question or issue we could have. Go Rent Namibia allowed us to have such great holidays. Boon13 July 2024Excellent service and meticulously prepared vehicle with gears for a camping experience in Namibia We rental a 4x4 from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 for our 20 days tour of Namibia. Correspondence between Christina was prompt and they provided free sim cards for our phones which was indeed very handy. The car was meticulously prepared to include towel for shower, toilet papers, seasoning for meat and dishwasher cleaning kit. They provided extra sleeping bags in case it gotten too cold as we rented during the winter month which did come in handy. The only complaint we had is the pillow - too small and too soft but we could understand the rational for having such a pillow, as the entire bedding kit folded in with the tentco when it was kept. The car was bulletproof and handled everything we threw at it, the Nissan had proper 4wd with low range which really got us out of trouble in some soft sand at Sossusvlei. It also has proper off road tyres which make the rough roads a breeze and we had 0 punctures. The camping equipment included everything we needed for the trip although we only camped for a few nights and everything you might need to get out of trouble( tools, tyre inflator,puncture repair kit, two spares, water tank etc) , Rian even gave us some binoculars for game viewing. The airport transfer and collection/drop off was seamless. We were offered drinks and all of the equipment was demonstrated to us. Most of all Lorraine, Rian and Robert genuinely seemed like they just wanted us to have a great holiday which we absolutely did. Would definitely book again.Posted on Google

Robert, il titolare, si è dimostrato una persona molto disponibile, 24 h su 24. Ci ha fornito un veicolo praticamente nuovo, molto comodo, dotato di tutti i confort: asciugamani, piatti, bicchieri, flute, compressore, vanga, graticola, fili per il bucato, detersivo, spugna, strofinaccio, posate, tavolo, sedie, fiammiferi, fornelletto con tre bombolette di gas, frigor, bollitore, tegami, insomma chi più ne ha ne metta! La tenda era di dimensioni perfette per dormire due persone, dotata di materassino alto circa 9 cm, cuscini, sacchi a pelo, trapunta leggera e pesante. Il tutto con odore e profumo di pulito. Cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo! Mai avuto mal di schiena. Un ringraziamento ad Alicia che ci ha prontamente curato la parte amministrativa e si è dimostrata una ragazza professionale, affidabile e simpatica. È stato veramente un piacere averla conosciuta. Ed infine, ma non per ultimo, un grande abbraccio a Simon che, con pazienza e serenità ci ha minuziosamente spiegato il funzionamento della jeep e di tutti gli accessori. Megan J23 October 2023Great trip, great service and great cars! We had a great 2 week trip across Namibia in the 4x4. It was really well equipped with everything we needed and more for our trip. The tent was super comfy and we were provided with duvets/blankets/pillows too. Robert, Rian and team went above and beyond with anything we needed and getting the car ready and despite the bad roads and dust across Namibia, the car was amazing. Beatrice Bellan Lux5 February 2024Thank you so much Robert for your amazing service! We loved our nissan that took us around for 6000 km between Namibia and Botswana in 18 days, and was just great! The camping equipment was super, the bed comfy and the rooftop tent very easy to open and close, and we really took advantage of the complementary binoculars, namibian simcard and wifi(18 GB!) We got no punctures in our wheels (special wheels that are almost impossible to puncture), but having the wheel monitor was an extrasafety which we really appreciated. Robert is always available and ready to help. One of our back car fenders broke but was covered by the insurance. After this amazing holiday we enjoyed one last night in the great apartment they have for rent, and enjoyed a day with Robert and his beautiful family. Anita Stucky28 October 2024Wir waren 7 Wochen, 7500km unterwegs in ganz Namibia. Zuerst in den Süden, danach Swakopmund, Norden, Etosha, Kaprivistreifen, Botswana, Okawango Delta. Der Toyota Hillux war unser super Fahrzeug und zu Hause während diesen sieben Wochen. Super neue Autos, keine Pannen, keine Probleme mit den Pneus. Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Kühlschrank, aber Robert war jederzeit mit seiner Hilfe für uns da und wir konnten das Problem zu unserer Zufriedenheit lösen. Der Service war perfekt, vom Anfang, Buchung usw. bis zum Schluss. Abholung vom Flughafen durch Simon und Once, wo wir schon die ersten Instruktionen für die Fahrzeuge und die Besonderheiten der namibischen Strassen erfahren haben. RR - Rene2 September 2025This is late review, but as they say "better later then never". Myself and my partner rent a car from Go Rent Namibia this yeae (end of April and beginning of May). That was a start of a busy rental season. We had a car for a week. Comunicatoon with the company prior our trip was perfect. They've answered all our questions. At the airport we were welcomed by Simon. When we arrived at the company's location, Simon told us all about the car and the equipment which came with it. We had full camping equipment: pots, plates, glasses, dish soup, head lamps etc. All what we needed was provided with the car. On our return, Simon also dropped us off to the airport. We had pleasure to meet the while team. We shared our travel plan with Robert and he recommended different route to the one we were going to take. I'm glad he made those suggestions as the views were incredible. They could have just hand over keys to us, but they went over our expectations. They've made our stay in Namibia unforgettable. On return, Robert hand over key chain to my partner to remind him about driving in Namibia while at home. This was very nice gesture. When planning our trip to Namibia, I spent several weeks comparing rental companies - and I’m glad I did, because I ended up choosing the best one for our journey! The staff was incredibly kind, including the owner, Robert. When we picked up the car, Robert explained everything to us and even shared his own tips on what to watch out for. Our vehicle, a Toyota Hilux 4x4 for 2, was almost brand new, spotless, and perfectly equipped. We didn’t miss a single thing during our two-week trip. Ana C4 March 2025The best car rental experience of our lives From start to finish, renting a car with camping equipment from Robert (the owner) was seamless. Everyone we talked to at this company was highly professional and super friendly and kind. They were flexible and accommodating for everything we needed - we received all the information we could have needed, tips for sights, technical pointers and rides back and forth. I cannot think of anything they could have done better. We had a Toyota Hilux 2.4 4x4 automatic with camping gear for 11 days and everything ran perfectly. Many people say that they had flat tires or car trouble in Namibia due to the road conditions, but we had zero incidents in 11 days - the car was perfect: comfortable, equipped with more than we needed, in perfect condition. A special thank you to Simon, who was really kind, funny and accommodating (Robert, give Simon a raise! :D) and to Christina, who made our planning smooth and easy! C83Bru27 September 2024Great rental experience I had a great experience with this company. The car was brand-new (even upgraded vs what I had booked), the camping equipment complete. I had everything I needed and more. Christina assisted me in a thorough and friendly way during enquiry phase and booking. Simon was a friendly driver both from and to the airport. Finally, Robert gave me complete info about the car and suggestions on the itinerary. The only issue I had on the trip (rental unrelated) was the classic tyre puncture. When that happened communication with Robert was prompt and efficient. As he accidentally was in the same area I was he even dropped by to make sure everything was fixed properly. The car was in a great condition and perfect for Namibian roads. Camping equipment was more than enough - we had everything we could think about. Robert was instrumental in helping us plan a doable itinerary, Simon was great when picking us up and explaining the car and Alicia was working to provide us with the necessary papers. They went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience including extra transfers, wifi, help with the itinerary and questions about the gear were addressed quickly over WhatsApp. The car had everything we needed and the rooftents provide exceptional space and comfort. Once you have set it up once or twice you can set it up in no time. Most important to us was the state of the car and the tyres. We drove around for 3 weeks without any problems. Robert gave us good advice on the road condition alerts. The road between Noordoever and Aus showed on google maps as closed due floodings 10 days earlier. He said roads get usally fixed fast and there is usually a way around it. He was right. Most other roads were in great conditions. The wifi box in the car is a convenient extra. We were a group of nine students and were warmly welcomed by Robert and Simon, who took great care of us from start to finish. The free airport transfer to our accommodation and the following day’s ride to the agency made things so smooth. Each car came with a Wi-Fi hotspot and a local SIM card. All the camping equipment was included: sleeping bags, pillows, utensils, lamps, chairs, tables, and more. Robert even added a tent, mattress, and extra bedding free of charge so that no one had to sleep in the car. Binoculars and walkie-talkies were also thoughtfully provided. Moreover, Robert reviewed our itinerary with us and gave valuable advice on places to visit. On the day of our return, we unfortunately hit a warthog. With very limited time before our flight, Robert was incredibly responsive, guided us through remote repair steps with video instructions, and ensured we didn’t miss our flight. The customer service was excellent throughout. Correspondence between Christina was prompt and they provided free sim cards for our phones which was indeed very handy. The car was meticulously prepared to include towel for shower, toilet papers, seasoning for meat and dishwasher cleaning kit. They provided extra sleeping bags in case it gotten too cold as we rented during the winter month which did come in handy. The only complaint we had is the pillow - too small and too soft but we could understand the rational for having such a pillow, as the entire bedding kit folded in with the tentco when it was kept. The car was bulletproof and handled everything we threw at it, the Nissan had proper 4wd with low range which really got us out of trouble in some soft sand at Sossusvlei. It also has proper off road tyres which make the rough roads a breeze and we had 0 punctures. The camping equipment included everything we needed for the trip although we only camped for a few nights and everything you might need to get out of trouble( tools, tyre inflator,puncture repair kit, two spares, water tank etc) , Rian even gave us some binoculars for game viewing. The airport transfer and collection/drop off was seamless. We were offered drinks and all of the equipment was demonstrated to us. Most of all Lorraine, Rian and Robert genuinely seemed like they just wanted us to have a great holiday which we absolutely did. Esperienza fantastica!! Robert, il titolare, si è dimostrato una persona molto disponibile, 24 h su 24. Ci ha fornito un veicolo praticamente nuovo, molto comodo, dotato di tutti i confort: asciugamani, piatti, bicchieri, flute, compressore, vanga, graticola, fili per il bucato, detersivo, spugna, strofinaccio, posate, tavolo, sedie, fiammiferi, fornelletto con tre bombolette di gas, frigor, bollitore, tegami, insomma chi più ne ha ne metta! La tenda era di dimensioni perfette per dormire due persone, dotata di materassino alto circa 9 cm, cuscini, sacchi a pelo, trapunta leggera e pesante. Il tutto con odore e profumo di pulito. Cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo! Mai avuto mal di schiena. Un ringraziamento ad Alicia che ci ha prontamente curato la parte amministrativa e si è dimostrata una ragazza professionale, affidabile e simpatica. È stato veramente un piacere averla conosciuta. Ed infine, ma non per ultimo, un grande abbraccio a Simon che, con pazienza e serenità ci ha minuziosamente spiegato il funzionamento della jeep e di tutti gli accessori. We loved our nissan that took us around for 6000 km between Namibia and Botswana in 18 days, and was just great! The camping equipment was super, the bed comfy and the rooftop tent very easy to open and close, and we really took advantage of the complementary binoculars, namibian simcard and wifi(18 GB!) We got no punctures in our wheels (special wheels that are almost impossible to puncture), but having the wheel monitor was an extrasafety which we really appreciated. Robert is always available and ready to help. One of our back car fenders broke but was covered by the insurance. Zuerst in den Süden, danach Swakopmund, Norden, Etosha, Kaprivistreifen, Botswana, Okawango Delta. Der Toyota Hillux war unser super Fahrzeug und zu Hause während diesen sieben Wochen. Super neue Autos, keine Pannen, keine Probleme mit den Pneus. Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Kühlschrank, aber Robert war jederzeit mit seiner Hilfe für uns da und wir konnten das Problem zu unserer Zufriedenheit lösen. Der Service war perfekt, vom Anfang, Buchung usw. bis zum Schluss. Abholung vom Flughafen durch Simon und Once, wo wir schon die ersten Instruktionen für die Fahrzeuge und die Besonderheiten der namibischen Strassen erfahren haben. Wir haben eine perfekte Reise erlebt. Jederzeit wieder mit Go Rent, ich kann es 100% empfehlen. Myself and my partner rent a car from Go Rent Namibia this yeae (end of April and beginning of May). That was a start of a busy rental season. We had a car for a week. Comunicatoon with the company prior our trip was perfect. They've answered all our questions. At the airport we were welcomed by Simon. When we arrived at the company's location, Simon told us all about the car and the equipment which came with it. We had full camping equipment: pots, plates, glasses, dish soup, head lamps etc. All what we needed was provided with the car. On our return, Simon also dropped us off to the airport. We had pleasure to meet the while team. We shared our travel plan with Robert and he recommended different route to the one we were going to take. I'm glad he made those suggestions as the views were incredible. They could have just hand over keys to us, but they went over our expectations. They've made our stay in Namibia unforgettable. On return, Robert hand over key chain to my partner to remind him about driving in Namibia while at home. This was very nice gesture. We had very nice time in Namibia and we recommend Go Rent Namibia to anybody. When planning our trip to Namibia, I spent several weeks comparing rental companies - and I’m glad I did, because I ended up choosing the best one for our journey! The staff was incredibly kind, including the owner, Robert. When we picked up the car, Robert explained everything to us and even shared his own tips on what to watch out for. Our vehicle, a Toyota Hilux 4x4 for 2, was almost brand new, spotless, and perfectly equipped. We didn’t miss a single thing during our two-week trip. Whenever we had a question, Robert always replied immediately and was happy to help. I’d also like to thank Jessica for her helpfulness and advice before the rental 🙂 I recommend this company 100%! Everyone we talked to at this company was highly professional and super friendly and kind. They were flexible and accommodating for everything we needed - we received all the information we could have needed, tips for sights, technical pointers and rides back and forth. I cannot think of anything they could have done better. We had a Toyota Hilux 2.4 4x4 automatic with camping gear for 11 days and everything ran perfectly. Many people say that they had flat tires or car trouble in Namibia due to the road conditions, but we had zero incidents in 11 days - the car was perfect: comfortable, equipped with more than we needed, in perfect condition. A special thank you to Simon, who was really kind, funny and accommodating (Robert, give Simon a raise! :D) and to Christina, who made our planning smooth and easy! The car was brand-new (even upgraded vs what I had booked), the camping equipment complete. I had everything I needed and more. Christina assisted me in a thorough and friendly way during enquiry phase and booking. Simon was a friendly driver both from and to the airport. Finally, Robert gave me complete info about the car and suggestions on the itinerary. The only issue I had on the trip (rental unrelated) was the classic tyre puncture. When that happened communication with Robert was prompt and efficient. As he accidentally was in the same area I was he even dropped by to make sure everything was fixed properly. As a solo traveler, this was clearly extra appreciated.
