They are the best!! We recommend it 100%. We travel a lot and have rented a car in various places, but we have never experienced such great service as we received here. The owner is very nice, he explained everything in detail, how to drive safely, how to repair a wheel in case of problems, what the car is equipped with (and it was equipped with everything we needed and even more). We were given an extra sleeping bag and a blanket in case it was cold at night and beers for the first night at the campsite ;)! We had a very nice chat and coffee with the owner and the driver who took us to the airport when we returned the car. If we ever come back to Namibia we will definitely rent a car here again! max7289 December 2024Outstanding car rental and lovely owner We had an incredible experience for 18 days around Namibia expecially thanks to the owner of Go Rent and the outstanding service they provide.The owner Robert is such a good and friendly person...and definitely very professional.He run his company in an impeccable way together with his staff Christina and Simon.As it was a last minute decision we booked our flight and the car just 2 weeks before and we haven't had time to make a proper itinerary, we basically didn't know so much about Namibia, but thanks to Robert and the usefull suggestions and tips that he gave us we had a memorable trip that we will never forget.The car was just perfect, new and very well mantained. We travelled 6.600km in 18 days, mostly in gravel roads and we didn't have any issue, not even a minor one.It was also very well equipped, we had all the necessary stuff and tools for camping and for any emergency.Our tent was new and very confortable, i never slept so good in my whole life!Overall it was a great experience, we highly recommend this company to anyone that want to travel in Namibia.Thanks Robert, it was a great pleasure meet you and your staff.Posted on Google
rouxbert roos5 June 2024Can’t say enough about how amazing this trip was for us! Thank you all at Go Rent! The team is super professional, Robert goes the extra mile to ensure all arrangements were in place ahead of our arrival in Windhoek. Rian picked us up without any hassle and had some great advice this being our first Namibia trip. I will most definitely reach out to them in the future and discuss the planned route especially if you decide to set off on day one. I did not anticipate the earlier sunset in the winter and we could quickly formed a plan to ensure we arrive in time. Rian left us a care package which among other things included braai spice and coffee. This came in super handy on the first two days until we could restock! The wifi and live tyre pressure monitors were thrown in free of charge which made our trip as novices feel safer as well as allow us to make arrangements on the way. All the equipment was new or in excellent condition. I was very impressed with the Nissan, its power, comfort and fuel consumption was on point! We never felt like we needed anything, these guys know what they are doing and have thought of it all. Fill up the onboard fridge running both AC/DC and you are off to enjoy the beauty of Africa. You made what I had thought for many years to be inaccessible very easy and it resulted in a game changing holiday experience. Captain Cyclops31 October 2023We recently stayed in Namibia for 2 weeks and rented a 4x4 at GoRent Namibia 4x4 Rentals to explore (only a fraction of) this amazingly beautiful country. The experience was GREAT! We were picked up at the airport in Windhoek by Rian - a very nice and friendly guy. Once at the office/pickup location we met Robert where we had a very nice conversation with him and Rian until we were given a detailed introduction to our driving home for the next 2 weeks. The car was clean and in top shape, as was the roof top tent and the camping equipment that came with the car (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). During our trip we saw amazing landscapes, animals and met great people. Unfortunately though, we ran into some issues with the ignition lock that got stuck so it took us like 20min to turn on the car, as well as a dead fridge battery just days before entering Etosha National Park. Fortunately, we could rely on Rian's support. After WhatsApping him, we found us pulling into his friend Philipp's repair shop in Outjo after just a few hours driving from Uis - of course without turning off the engine ;) They repaired the defective lock and replaced the fridge battery within a few hours while we were running some errands downtown. Thank you for you kind support!!! After an amazing 2 weeks, we sadly returned the car in Windhoek and were dropped off at the airport by Rian again. Thank you so much for your kindness and support, Rian and Robert! We really appreciated it! We are hoping to see you again soon! Our Ford Ranger was phenomenal; it was very clean when we picked it up and everything worked perfectly. Ryan picked us up from the airport and was super friendly, explaining everything we needed to know about the car. Robert was also so nice and helped us with everything we required. Zu erwähnen gilt auch, dass ein WLAN im Auto dabei ist und man sich das kaufen der SIM Karte spart. Wenn es Probleme geben sollte ist jemand immer erreichbar und versucht dieses zu lösen. The vehicle was in prime condition and their experience on what to kit it out with was invaluable and all came from their immaculate store room. The result was an amazing 16 day trip over some of the toughest roads on the world without a single puncture in the greatest comfort. Quentin DA SILVA22 May 2026We rented a 4x4 Hilux from Go Rent for three weeks, and everything went perfectly. The online booking process was easy, and the contract was clear and straightforward. The 4x4 fully lived up to our expectations and allowed us to drive more than 5,000 km across Namibia and Botswana without any issues. We only had a small problem with the fridge, but it was resolved very quickly thanks to David, a friend of them living near Rundu, where we also spent one night. The transportation included from and to the airport is a big plus. Thanks Simon. A big thank you to Robert, Christina, Jessica, and David for their kindness and support throughout our trip. De mensen zijn super vriendelijz he wordt opgehaald en gebracht naar het vliegveld, een wifikastje voor onderweg, alle spullen die je nodig hebt om te kunnen kamperen worden meegegeven. De verzekering tot in de puntjes geregeld. De uitleg bij ontvangst perfect geregeld. De daktent sliep heerlijk en is heel makkelijk in gebruik. De auto was nieuw (20.000 km op de teller). Victor Cavalié5 March 2026Très bonne agence de location. Vous êtes récupérés à l’aéroport puis la voiture vous est remise dans le centre de Windhoek. La voiture était comme neuve aucun problème pendant 15 jours malgré des trajets périlleux (sable, cailloux, flaques). Les explications pour la prise en main de la voiture était très claires. Tout l’équipement camping y compris les tentes est super. Les tentes sont confortables et faciles à déplier/replier après une journée de prise en main. Mein Mann und ich haben ein Auto von Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals gemietet und sind mit dem Auto kreuz und quer durch Namibia gefahren. Eine Reise mit dem Auto ist, wahrscheinlich, die einzige Möglichkeit zu reisen da. Und ohne Auto kommt man nicht in ein Naturpark rein! Da ist es streng verboten (und gefährlich) aus dem Auto auszusteigen!Also, wir könnten in Namibia reisen und den Naturpark Etosha und die Küste besichtigen. In Etosha haben wir unglaublich viele Tieren gesehen, die man sonst nur aus einem Zoo Besucht kennt - Elephanten, Giraffen und anderen. Es war einfach atemberaubend! Es gibt Campinge im Park, allerdings muss man rechtzeitig reinkommen, mit dem Sonnenuntergang werden sie geschlossen. Am Anfang haben wir Angst gehabt, ob wir alles gut hinkriegen, abet das Zelt Aufbauen war sehr leicht, weil die Zelt auf dem Dach platziert war. Auspacken, auf der Leitung ziehen - und fertig! Richtig faszinierend! Neben alle unsere Campingplätze gab es Wasserlösliche, zu die Tieren zum Trinken kommen. Wir konnten die Tieren Tags und Nachts beobachten. Faszinierend!Und unser Auto hat uns das Leben leicht gemacht, weil da einfach alles, was man brauch, drin war.Wir können das Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals jeden empfehlen. Übrigens, die Besitzer, Rian und Robert, sind sehr sympathische Menschen, mit sie man auch so, nicht nur geschäftlich, gerne unterhält. Lisa KERHAMON14 June 2025Definitely recommended 😆 I don’t usually leave reviews on Google Maps or TripAdvisor, but I’m making an exception because the experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals was truly outstanding. We were a group of nine students and were warmly welcomed by Robert and Simon, who took great care of us from start to finish. The free airport transfer to our accommodation and the following day’s ride to the agency made things so smooth. Each car came with a Wi-Fi hotspot and a local SIM card. All the camping equipment was included: sleeping bags, pillows, utensils, lamps, chairs, tables, and more. Robert even added a tent, mattress, and extra bedding free of charge so that no one had to sleep in the car. Binoculars and walkie-talkies were also thoughtfully provided. Moreover, Robert reviewed our itinerary with us and gave valuable advice on places to visit. On the day of our return, we unfortunately hit a warthog. With very limited time before our flight, Robert was incredibly responsive, guided us through remote repair steps with video instructions, and ensured we didn’t miss our flight. The customer service was excellent throughout. I highly recommend this agency for its flexibility, kindness, and professionalism ☺️A special mention for international students: no extra charge for additional drivers and no strict delay required between license issuance and driving the vehicle, an agency that truly understands and supports young travelers.Posted on Google

My girlfriend and I recently rented a 4x4 here for a week in Namibia, and we can say that, from start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-arranged. The journey began when Rian picked us up at the airport. Right from the get-go, we noticed they are focused on good customer service. They didn't just hand us the keys and send us on our way; they took the time to ensure we understood everything about the vehicle and explained every detail, even if it took a couple of times for us to grasp... As for the car itself, it was in very good condition and came fully equipped with everything we needed for our camping tour in Namibia. Not sure whether we were lucky but we didn't have any issues with the tires and overall we felt confident and well-prepared for the terrain. In summary, they exceeded our expectations, and I would enthusiastically give them a major 5-star review. Genuinely hope to return to Namibia soon and if we do a tour by car again, I will know where to rent :). Thank you Rian for making our Namibian adventure one for the books! (Another good customer service side story: when I arrived at the office to pick up the car, I realized that I forgot my contact lenses at home. Britta Borderless29 April 2024My husband and I got a 4x4 camper for 17 days. The car was very easy to handle, very RELIABLE and we had fun driving it. We never faced any problem. We didn’t even loose a tyre since they were good quality. The car was FULLY equipped and didn’t miss anything. With the 70 l tank we never had to use the extra fuel canister. The fridge was big and we could have put more things if wanted. It was easy enough to cook with the stove and they also provided a barbecue grill. Service and contact was a 100%. All questions were answered immediately. Siamo stati accolti da Simon, puntuale e cordiale, che ci ha accompagnato presso la sede di Windhoek. Dopo un caffè e una spiegazione dettagliata sul percorso e sul funzionamento del veicolo, ci è stato consegnato un Toyota Hilux in ottime condizioni e completo di tutto. L'equipaggiamento era davvero eccellente: dal Wi-Fi di bordo alle torce, binocolo, coperte, sacchi a pelo e tutto il necessario per cucinare e grigliare (inclusi detersivo e spugnette). Line TR28 September 2024I have no word to describe how incredible the adventure in this car was ! 13 nights during which we drove from south to north of Namibia. Tent and car were amazing. I can only recommend you this company! During the month of September in the south and along the coast, temperatures were low at night and in the morning, but thanks to blankets and sleeping bags included in the price, nights were much more confortable. The service during the stay was perfect thanks to Robert. He was available at anytime for any question or issue we could have. Go Rent Namibia allowed us to have such great holidays. Besonders möchten wir uns bei Simon bedanken, der uns die 4x4 Pick-up Einweisung gab und die Transfers vom Flughafen zur Autovermietung und Unterkunft professionell und unkompliziert durchführte. Alicia und Robert haben uns persönlich vor Ort empfangen und uns hervorragend in die Sehenswürdigkeiten und wichtigen Aspekte eingewiesen. Während unserer umfangreichen Namibia Rundreise mit vielen Kilometern liess uns der gut vorbereitete Pick-up nie im Stich. Zudem wurden uns eine beinahe neue Bereifung zur verfügung gestellt, was äusserst wichtig ist für diesen vielseitigen Boden. Stephane COMMO18 July 2026We had a trip of 3 weeks in Namibia with a Toyota Hilux and tentes on the roof, and everything was good, from the very first contact with the team up to the airport drop at the end of our journey. The welcome in Windhoek, along with the explanations provided before departure, was very good. During our trip, Robert perfectly arranged a tire replacement when we got a flat tire on a dirt road almost far from everything, so we were able to continue thanks to having the two spare wheels. Simon was very kind and flexible to arrange airport drop at our convenience. Camping equipments were good also. I definitely recommend this team for a self-drive trip in Namibia.

We were given an extra sleeping bag and a blanket in case it was cold at night and beers for the first night at the campsite ;)! Thank you all at Go Rent! The team is super professional, Robert goes the extra mile to ensure all arrangements were in place ahead of our arrival in Windhoek. Rian picked us up without any hassle and had some great advice this being our first Namibia trip. I will most definitely reach out to them in the future and discuss the planned route especially if you decide to set off on day one. I did not anticipate the earlier sunset in the winter and we could quickly formed a plan to ensure we arrive in time. Rian left us a care package which among other things included braai spice and coffee. This came in super handy on the first two days until we could restock! The wifi and live tyre pressure monitors were thrown in free of charge which made our trip as novices feel safer as well as allow us to make arrangements on the way. All the equipment was new or in excellent condition. I was very impressed with the Nissan, its power, comfort and fuel consumption was on point! We never felt like we needed anything, these guys know what they are doing and have thought of it all. Fill up the onboard fridge running both AC/DC and you are off to enjoy the beauty of Africa. You made what I had thought for many years to be inaccessible very easy and it resulted in a game changing holiday experience. The experience was GREAT! We were picked up at the airport in Windhoek by Rian - a very nice and friendly guy. Once at the office/pickup location we met Robert where we had a very nice conversation with him and Rian until we were given a detailed introduction to our driving home for the next 2 weeks. The car was clean and in top shape, as was the roof top tent and the camping equipment that came with the car (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). During our trip we saw amazing landscapes, animals and met great people. Unfortunately though, we ran into some issues with the ignition lock that got stuck so it took us like 20min to turn on the car, as well as a dead fridge battery just days before entering Etosha National Park. Fortunately, we could rely on Rian's support. After WhatsApping him, we found us pulling into his friend Philipp's repair shop in Outjo after just a few hours driving from Uis - of course without turning off the engine ;) They repaired the defective lock and replaced the fridge battery within a few hours while we were running some errands downtown. Thank you for you kind support!!! After an amazing 2 weeks, we sadly returned the car in Windhoek and were dropped off at the airport by Rian again. La voiture était comme neuve aucun problème pendant 15 jours malgré des trajets périlleux (sable, cailloux, flaques). Les explications pour la prise en main de la voiture était très claires. Tout l’équipement camping y compris les tentes est super. Les tentes sont confortables et faciles à déplier/replier après une journée de prise en main. Eine Reise mit dem Auto ist, wahrscheinlich, die einzige Möglichkeit zu reisen da. Und ohne Auto kommt man nicht in ein Naturpark rein! Da ist es streng verboten (und gefährlich) aus dem Auto auszusteigen!Also, wir könnten in Namibia reisen und den Naturpark Etosha und die Küste besichtigen. In Etosha haben wir unglaublich viele Tieren gesehen, die man sonst nur aus einem Zoo Besucht kennt - Elephanten, Giraffen und anderen. Es war einfach atemberaubend! Es gibt Campinge im Park, allerdings muss man rechtzeitig reinkommen, mit dem Sonnenuntergang werden sie geschlossen. Am Anfang haben wir Angst gehabt, ob wir alles gut hinkriegen, abet das Zelt Aufbauen war sehr leicht, weil die Zelt auf dem Dach platziert war. Auspacken, auf der Leitung ziehen - und fertig! Richtig faszinierend! Neben alle unsere Campingplätze gab es Wasserlösliche, zu die Tieren zum Trinken kommen. Wir konnten die Tieren Tags und Nachts beobachten. Faszinierend!Und unser Auto hat uns das Leben leicht gemacht, weil da einfach alles, was man brauch, drin war.Wir können das Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals jeden empfehlen. We were a group of nine students and were warmly welcomed by Robert and Simon, who took great care of us from start to finish. The free airport transfer to our accommodation and the following day’s ride to the agency made things so smooth. Each car came with a Wi-Fi hotspot and a local SIM card. All the camping equipment was included: sleeping bags, pillows, utensils, lamps, chairs, tables, and more. Robert even added a tent, mattress, and extra bedding free of charge so that no one had to sleep in the car. Binoculars and walkie-talkies were also thoughtfully provided. Moreover, Robert reviewed our itinerary with us and gave valuable advice on places to visit. On the day of our return, we unfortunately hit a warthog. With very limited time before our flight, Robert was incredibly responsive, guided us through remote repair steps with video instructions, and ensured we didn’t miss our flight. The customer service was excellent throughout. My girlfriend and I recently rented a 4x4 here for a week in Namibia, and we can say that, from start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-arranged. The journey began when Rian picked us up at the airport. Right from the get-go, we noticed they are focused on good customer service. They didn't just hand us the keys and send us on our way; they took the time to ensure we understood everything about the vehicle and explained every detail, even if it took a couple of times for us to grasp... As for the car itself, it was in very good condition and came fully equipped with everything we needed for our camping tour in Namibia. Not sure whether we were lucky but we didn't have any issues with the tires and overall we felt confident and well-prepared for the terrain. In summary, they exceeded our expectations, and I would enthusiastically give them a major 5-star review. Genuinely hope to return to Namibia soon and if we do a tour by car again, I will know where to rent :). Thank you Rian for making our Namibian adventure one for the books! The car was very easy to handle, very RELIABLE and we had fun driving it. We never faced any problem. We didn’t even loose a tyre since they were good quality. The car was FULLY equipped and didn’t miss anything. With the 70 l tank we never had to use the extra fuel canister. The fridge was big and we could have put more things if wanted. It was easy enough to cook with the stove and they also provided a barbecue grill. Service and contact was a 100%. All questions were answered immediately. Tent and car were amazing. I can only recommend you this company! During the month of September in the south and along the coast, temperatures were low at night and in the morning, but thanks to blankets and sleeping bags included in the price, nights were much more confortable. The service during the stay was perfect thanks to Robert. He was available at anytime for any question or issue we could have. Go Rent Namibia allowed us to have such great holidays. Alicia und Robert haben uns persönlich vor Ort empfangen und uns hervorragend in die Sehenswürdigkeiten und wichtigen Aspekte eingewiesen. Während unserer umfangreichen Namibia Rundreise mit vielen Kilometern liess uns der gut vorbereitete Pick-up nie im Stich. Zudem wurden uns eine beinahe neue Bereifung zur verfügung gestellt, was äusserst wichtig ist für diesen vielseitigen Boden. The welcome in Windhoek, along with the explanations provided before departure, was very good. During our trip, Robert perfectly arranged a tire replacement when we got a flat tire on a dirt road almost far from everything, so we were able to continue thanks to having the two spare wheels. Simon was very kind and flexible to arrange airport drop at our convenience. Camping equipments were good also. I definitely recommend this team for a self-drive trip in Namibia.
