Super awesome car rental company to choose if you travel in Namibia. All their team members did a great job to their customers. With free return airport shuttle, free simcard & wifi device and binocular, it really makes your travel plan went smoothly. We rented a Toyota Hilux 4x4 with 2 rooftop tents. Benjamin P4 September 2023The best 4x4 rental company in Windhoek If you are wondering where to book a rental 4x4 for your adventure in Namibia, this is the place. We contacted them about a week ago before arriving in Namibia. Little did we know that August is high season in Namibia and therefore many rental companies are fully booked. Thankfully Go Rent still had an awesome Ford Ranger 3.2 4x4. Christina was so helpful in the e-mail communication with quick response time, clear information and took her time to explain every detail. This made the difference for me, since other rental companies were slow and only focused to rent me a car as soon as possible. Rian and Robert were so amazing throughout the entire journey. Through all 13 days of our adventure, we new that if we had a doubt or any problem, they would do anything to sort us out. I can't express how grateful we are for this guys and their amazing service. This company really goes that extra mile and cares about making the Namibia experience a unique one. Jenny R15 May 2024Great experience and highly recommended We have rented a car for 2 1/2 weeks travelling Namibia and Botswana. Our expectations were exceeded. The car was brand new and highly equipped with the best tires, we even got sim cards from the team. Christina, Peter, Robert and their team were very kind and helpful also going through our itinerary and giving us advice on the best camps, road conditions and what to avoid. We had no issues at all with the car but when we had one question abojt the fridge we promply got a response and solution. We are very happy that we chose Go Rent Namibia. We saw a lot of different cars from other companies and Go rent really had the ones in the best condition in comparison. We had the Hilux twin cab vehicle with camping equipment. Everything was provided and complete - all we had to do was take our food and drinks along. Diogo Guimarães27 March 2026I've rented a 4×4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent with Go Rent Namibia and my experience was very good. Their cars are new, with everything you need for a smooth camping experience (and I really mean everything). Also, we felt very supported by their team on all steps of our trip (thank you Christina and Jessica!). During our 2-week drive we had a minor issue with 2 broken locks on the back of the car (this was not the company's fault) and their team immediately directed us to a car shop in the vicinity of our location, which fixed the problem in 30 minutes, free of charge. Alenka A21 August 2024A good choice for renting a 4x4 car to travel around Namibia We have just finished a trip around Namibia with a Nissan Navarro 4x4 with 2 tents for our family of four, rented from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. The car was great and the camping equipment you get with the car really has everything: everything you need for sleeping (sheets, pillows, blankets, extra blanket), plates, cups, cutlery, dishes, cooker, table, chairs, barbecue equipment, binoculars, multitool, one SIM card with a Namibian number and a WiFi unit for the car. The beginning was a bit unpleasant, because we had agreed to pick us up at the airport, but when we arrived, there was no transport. But from there on, everything was great. That's why I'm also convinced that the beginning was just a coincidence that wouldn't have happened otherwise. They picked us up at the hostel and later drove us to the airport. At the time of the pickup, we also went through our itinerary together and even when we had ignition issues in the meantime, we had great communication and we got everything sorted out together. We were sent several instruction videos in advance and got a good explanation about the route through Robert and about the car & accompanying camping gear from Simon. The car was still very new and the camping gear contained everything we needed and more (like the wifi device). The price/quality ratio was really fantastic. Para nuestro primer viaje por Namibia y Botsuana decidimos alquilar un 4x4 de la marca Nissan NP300 con equipo de camping completo (tienda de campaña, utensilios de cocina, mesa, sillas, nevera, prismáticos, etc). El coche estaba en perfecto estado, muy fiable y equipado con muy buenos neumáticos. El primer día tuvimos un percance y pinchamos pero al tener el material necesario pudimos arreglarlo sin ningún problema. En cuanto al trato con los trabajadores de la empresa, ha sido espectualar; Robert nos explico todo lo que debíamos saber con exactitud e intentaba que nos quedase todo claro haciendo explicaciones en castellano. Además, a la hora de hacer el pago como en España nos daba error pudimos hacer todo el pago allí mismo el día de la recogida del vehículo. Por otra parte, en la mitad de nuestro recorrido tuvimos un percance (se nos rompió la dirección del coche), nada mas comunicarlo nos dio una solución y al día siguiente estabamos en un tayer arreglándolo sin afectar a nuestro itinerario. Por último, el trayecto del aeropuerto a la ciudad esta cubierto, es decir, te llevan el primer día y el último de tu estancia, gesto que se agradece ya que el aeropuerto no esta muy cerca de la ciudad. Alicia und Robert haben uns persönlich vor Ort empfangen und uns hervorragend in die Sehenswürdigkeiten und wichtigen Aspekte eingewiesen. Während unserer umfangreichen Namibia Rundreise mit vielen Kilometern liess uns der gut vorbereitete Pick-up nie im Stich. Zudem wurden uns eine beinahe neue Bereifung zur verfügung gestellt, was äusserst wichtig ist für diesen vielseitigen Boden. Das zeigt, dass man hier eine zuverlässige Leistung erhält, für die man sehr fair bezahlt. Das Fahrzeug ist mit allen wichtigen und hilfreichen Equipment, sowie Pannenhilfematerial, Kochutensilien, Bettzeug und sogar Badetuch ausgestattet. Robert, Rian and the rest of the team go out of their way to make your once in a lifetime trip the best and safest it can be. From pre-departure advice and support, to being dropped off at the airport at the end, the service was outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a Nissan NP300 with two roof top tents, new off road tyres, tyre monitors, GPS, WiFi, satellite phone, fridge and everything else you could need for our adventure which saw me and my daughter driving 4500km around Namibia and Botswana over 4 weeks. Markus W14 April 2024Best Car Rental Ever This is how car rental should be! Excellent service. Unfortunately our arrival at Windhoek Airport was delayed for 14 hours. Originally it was planned to go shopping and fill up the car with drinks and snacks. Due to the delay this was no more possible. So Robert from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 did all the shopping for us and parked the car full with drinks and snacks in front of our hotel, so that we could start our trip the next day. The return of the car was also very chilled and relaxed with a beer at the office. Next time Go Rent Namibia 4x4 again!!!Posted on Google

Our flight was delayed at our arrival and the cie offered us to pick up the truck the next day for our security as it was getting dark. They find us accomodation and drove us there and back on the next morning. We had a full training on how the Nissan NP 300 works , how to deal with the driving, the camping equipment, they gave us good advice on our itinerary and pretty useful road tricks! Jessica Halpern21 August 2025Everything was perfect, from pickup at Windhoek airport (after a 2 hour line for passport control!) to pickup arranged at our hotel on the last morning for the return trip to the airport. The 4x4 has everything you need, even a good pair of binoculars, and the 25 giga sim card lasted the four of us until halfway through the last day. It was especially cold for the first few days of our trip, but the tents and bedding kept us warm enough even when the temperature dropped to 3 degrees C overniight. Weeks leading to our visit, Christina was very helpful until the end of our trip. Riaan, Robert and Ons were really really helpful in helping us get acquainted with the 4x4 bakkie. Rian and Robert are very professional and well organized. The car equipment was very good. The camping equipment was in good, new condition and the bed linen was clean. The car was explained to us well so we had no problems with the handling. I would recommend sleeping there for one night. Rooms are also offered there (Castel View Suites). This way you can start your holiday relaxed. There is also a supermarket nearby. We went through our itinerary with Robert who recommanded specific roads related both to road quality and sightseeing. The cars are very well equipped. We drove more than 5000km on all types of roads and the cars responded really well. We contacted them about a week ago before arriving in Namibia. Little did we know that August is high season in Namibia and therefore many rental companies are fully booked. Thankfully Go Rent still had an awesome Ford Ranger 3.2 4x4. Christina was so helpful in the e-mail communication with quick response time, clear information and took her time to explain every detail. This made the difference for me, since other rental companies were slow and only focused to rent me a car as soon as possible. Rian and Robert were so amazing throughout the entire journey. The car was great and the camping equipment you get with the car really has everything: everything you need for sleeping (sheets, pillows, blankets, extra blanket), plates, cups, cutlery, dishes, cooker, table, chairs, barbecue equipment, binoculars, multitool, one SIM card with a Namibian number and a WiFi unit for the car. The beginning was a bit unpleasant, because we had agreed to pick us up at the airport, but when we arrived, there was no transport. But from there on, everything was great. That's why I'm also convinced that the beginning was just a coincidence that wouldn't have happened otherwise. They picked us up at the hostel and later drove us to the airport. At the time of the pickup, we also went through our itinerary together and even when we had ignition issues in the meantime, we had great communication and we got everything sorted out together. Para nuestro primer viaje por Namibia y Botsuana decidimos alquilar un 4x4 de la marca Nissan NP300 con equipo de camping completo (tienda de campaña, utensilios de cocina, mesa, sillas, nevera, prismáticos, etc). El coche estaba en perfecto estado, muy fiable y equipado con muy buenos neumáticos. El primer día tuvimos un percance y pinchamos pero al tener el material necesario pudimos arreglarlo sin ningún problema. En cuanto al trato con los trabajadores de la empresa, ha sido espectualar; Robert nos explico todo lo que debíamos saber con exactitud e intentaba que nos quedase todo claro haciendo explicaciones en castellano. Además, a la hora de hacer el pago como en España nos daba error pudimos hacer todo el pago allí mismo el día de la recogida del vehículo. Por otra parte, en la mitad de nuestro recorrido tuvimos un percance (se nos rompió la dirección del coche), nada mas comunicarlo nos dio una solución y al día siguiente estabamos en un tayer arreglándolo sin afectar a nuestro itinerario. Por último, el trayecto del aeropuerto a la ciudad esta cubierto, es decir, te llevan el primer día y el último de tu estancia, gesto que se agradece ya que el aeropuerto no esta muy cerca de la ciudad. From pre-departure advice and support, to being dropped off at the airport at the end, the service was outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a Nissan NP300 with two roof top tents, new off road tyres, tyre monitors, GPS, WiFi, satellite phone, fridge and everything else you could need for our adventure which saw me and my daughter driving 4500km around Namibia and Botswana over 4 weeks. Excellent service. Unfortunately our arrival at Windhoek Airport was delayed for 14 hours. Originally it was planned to go shopping and fill up the car with drinks and snacks. Due to the delay this was no more possible. So Robert from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 did all the shopping for us and parked the car full with drinks and snacks in front of our hotel, so that we could start our trip the next day. The return of the car was also very chilled and relaxed with a beer at the office. The staff is so friendly, professional and welcoming! Our flight was delayed at our arrival and the cie offered us to pick up the truck the next day for our security as it was getting dark. They find us accomodation and drove us there and back on the next morning. We had a full training on how the Nissan NP 300 works , how to deal with the driving, the camping equipment, they gave us good advice on our itinerary and pretty useful road tricks! The truck was in perfect state and we absolutely enjoyed our road trip in Namibia. The 4x4 has everything you need, even a good pair of binoculars, and the 25 giga sim card lasted the four of us until halfway through the last day. It was especially cold for the first few days of our trip, but the tents and bedding kept us warm enough even when the temperature dropped to 3 degrees C overniight. Weeks leading to our visit, Christina was very helpful until the end of our trip. Riaan, Robert and Ons were really really helpful in helping us get acquainted with the 4x4 bakkie. The bakkie was a pleasure to drive on gravel and tar road, had all you need for camping. We contacted them about a week ago before arriving in Namibia. Little did we know that August is high season in Namibia and therefore many rental companies are fully booked. Thankfully Go Rent still had an awesome Ford Ranger 3.2 4x4. Christina was so helpful in the e-mail communication with quick response time, clear information and took her time to explain every detail. This made the difference for me, since other rental companies were slow and only focused to rent me a car as soon as possible. Rian and Robert were so amazing throughout the entire journey. Through all 13 days of our adventure, we new that if we had a doubt or any problem, they would do anything to sort us out. I can't express how grateful we are for this guys and their amazing service. Rian and Robert are very professional and well organized. The car equipment was very good. The camping equipment was in good, new condition and the bed linen was clean. The car was explained to us well so we had no problems with the handling. I would recommend sleeping there for one night. Rooms are also offered there (Castel View Suites). This way you can start your holiday relaxed. There is also a supermarket nearby. They were very professionnal & responsive. We went through our itinerary with Robert who recommanded specific roads related both to road quality and sightseeing. The cars are very well equipped. We drove more than 5000km on all types of roads and the cars responded really well.
