Tolles Auto, tolle Einweisung, sehr nette Mitarbeiter, super Service: wir wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt und zur ersten Unterkunft gebracht, am nächsten Tag zur Übergabe abgeholt, nach der Abgabe wurden wir zur letzten Unterkunft und am nächsten Tag wieder zum Flughafen gebracht - top! Ich konnte es kaum glauben, dass man bei so vielen Bewertungen einen Durchschnitt von 5,0 hat, aber jetzt weiß ich warum.Posted on Google

Shawn Law15 June 2026I had an excellent experience renting a 4x4 from this company for my 12-day self-drive trip around Namibia. One thing that impressed me right from the start was that they managed to secure a Toyota Hilux 4x4 for us even though we booked only about a month before our trip. Given how popular 4x4 rentals can be in Namibia, especially during peak travel periods, we were very grateful for their help. What really stood out was the level of service. They arranged private transfers from the airport to our accommodation in Windhoek on the first night, from the accommodation to the rental office the next morning, and even from the rental office back to the airport at the end of the trip—all at no additional charge. Having the same driver (shoutout to Simon!) for the transfers made everything seamless and stress-free. During vehicle collection, the team went through the checklist thoroughly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which gave us a lot of confidence before starting the journey as it's our first time driving a 4x4. Another thoughtful touch was that they provided advice on recommended routes and roads to avoid based on current conditions. This local knowledge was extremely helpful and is something we have not experienced with most car rental companies. The vehicle was very well prepared. The tyre pressures were already properly set, and throughout our 12-day journey across Namibia, we had a completely smooth experience without any tyre issues, punctures, or needing to make any adjustments. I also appreciated that there was no requirement to wash the vehicle before returning it. After driving through Namibia's gravel roads and desert landscapes, being able to return the car as-is made the end of the trip much more convenient. Overall, the service was professional, friendly, and genuinely customer-focused. The team went above and beyond to make our Namibia self-drive adventure easy and enjoyable. The truck was in immaculate shape and the added wifi and Apple car play in the car was a life saver. Ewelina Puz13 June 2025We wholeheartedly recommend this car rental company. The car is very clean and well-kept. The offer included the latest Toyota Hilux with a clean tent on the roof. Very helpful and friendly owners who gave a lot of helpful travel tips. The owner showed how to unfold and fold the tent. The car had all the necessary equipment, including two refrigerators, chairs and a table. Not to mention the plates and cutlery. Jake7 June 2025Excellent experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. We were pickup at the airport by Simon (who’s incredibly friendly and helpful) just outside customs. Seamless and smooth transition to the hq and met Robert. This guy is running an awesome business and the vehicles all looked in great condition. We had a newer Hilux raider with all the basic recovery equipment, two spares, tire pressure gauge, binoculars for game spotting, cooler, and the truck was equipped with aftermarket TPMS for extra peace of mind. Spent more than a week driving dirt roads, some sand, and eventually back onto tarmac. Vehicle worked great, and Robert was quick to respond via WhatsApp. Oh yeah, they also included a portable WiFi connection and backup sim for emergencies. Mit Kühlbox, Fernglas und Toilettenpapier. Wifi hatten wir auch im Auto! Einfach genial. Das Auto war ein Nissan 4x4 mit sehr guten Reifen, was in Namibia sehr wichtig ist. Es war das erste Mal für mich in Namibia ohne Platten eine Reise zu beenden. Ich kann von der Professionalität diese Firma nur empfehlen. Feli8 October 2025Wir haben unser 4x4 Geländefahrzeug mit Dachzelt bei GoRent gemietet. Das Auto und das Dachzelt waren in perfekten Konditionen. Das Auto erfüllte alle Anforderungen für die Strassen Namibias und man konnte mit ihm sogar durch den Sand in Sossuvlei fahren. Die Campingausrüstung war sehr umfangreich. Wir haben genug warme Decken für die kalten Wüstennächte gekriegt und die Handtücher waren sauber. Man muss von Zuhause nichts selber mitnehmen für das Camping. Bei GoRent kriegst du wirklich alles. Das Service war auch ausgezeichnet. Sehr nette und zuverlässige Leute rund um die Uhr erreichbar. britta_borderless29 April 2024Reliable car, great service, full equipment My husband and I got a 4x4 camper for 17 days. The car was very easy to handle, very RELIABLE and we had fun driving it. We never faced any problem. We didn’t even loose a tyre since they were good quality. The car was FULLY equipped and didn’t miss anything. With the 70 l tank we never had to use the extra fuel canister. The fridge was big and we could have put more things if wanted. It was easy enough to cook with the stove and they also provided a barbecue grill. Service and contact was a 100%. All questions were answered immediately. Mario Garcia31 August 2023We recommend it 100%. We travel a lot and have rented a car in various places, but we have never experienced such great service as we received here. The owner is very nice, he explained everything in detail, how to drive safely, how to repair a wheel in case of problems, what the car is equipped with (and it was equipped with everything we needed and even more). We were given an extra sleeping bag and a blanket in case it was cold at night and beers for the first night at the campsite ;)! We had a very nice chat and coffee with the owner and the driver who took us to the airport when we returned the car. If we ever come back to Namibia we will definitely rent a car here again! Weeks leading to our visit, Christina was very helpful until the end of our trip. Riaan, Robert and Ons were really really helpful in helping us get acquainted with the 4x4 bakkie. The bakkie was a pleasure to drive on gravel and tar road, had all you need for camping. I had everything I needed and more. Christina assisted me in a thorough and friendly way during enquiry phase and booking. Simon was a friendly driver both from and to the airport. Finally, Robert gave me complete info about the car and suggestions on the itinerary. The only issue I had on the trip (rental unrelated) was the classic tyre puncture. When that happened communication with Robert was prompt and efficient. As he accidentally was in the same area I was he even dropped by to make sure everything was fixed properly. The car was brand new and highly equipped with the best tires, we even got sim cards from the team. Christina, Peter, Robert and their team were very kind and helpful also going through our itinerary and giving us advice on the best camps, road conditions and what to avoid. Raquel V23 July 2025Amazing trip in a full equiped car. They were very welcoming in their offices.They also offer the option to book any activities. In our case they booked the Sandwich Harbour tour.They offer a shuttle service to and from the airport, which is very useful since the airport transfer to the capital takes 40 minutes. Simon gave us a good overview of the car and of all the faccilities of the camping equipment.The campsite's facilities were very comprehensive, offering everything from cleaning products to cutlery, plates, and utensils, even emergency supplies.The car was really well equipped and covered of our needs without exception.About the trip itself the manager Robert gave us really good advise that has been really useful along the trip.Among all he has been really helpful and available at all time.We highly recommend this company if you plan to travel about Namibia on your own.Posted on Google

Alenka A21 August 2024A good choice for renting a 4x4 car to travel around Namibia We have just finished a trip around Namibia with a Nissan Navarro 4x4 with 2 tents for our family of four, rented from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. The car was great and the camping equipment you get with the car really has everything: everything you need for sleeping (sheets, pillows, blankets, extra blanket), plates, cups, cutlery, dishes, cooker, table, chairs, barbecue equipment, binoculars, multitool, one SIM card with a Namibian number and a WiFi unit for the car. The beginning was a bit unpleasant, because we had agreed to pick us up at the airport, but when we arrived, there was no transport. But from there on, everything was great. That's why I'm also convinced that the beginning was just a coincidence that wouldn't have happened otherwise. They picked us up at the hostel and later drove us to the airport. At the time of the pickup, we also went through our itinerary together and even when we had ignition issues in the meantime, we had great communication and we got everything sorted out together. Very friendly people, nice car. We really enjoyed the trip and also Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals is one part of our beautiful experience.Posted on Google

The camping equipment was in good, new condition and the bed linen was clean. The car was explained to us well so we had no problems with the handling. I would recommend sleeping there for one night. Rooms are also offered there (Castel View Suites). This way you can start your holiday relaxed. There is also a supermarket nearby. We have gone a group of 8 relatives and we wanted to go all together, and not have to drive ourselves. We contacted Robert and since they do not have vehicles of that capacity, he was in charge of locating one of the features we needed, and with trailer for luggage. We were looking for an experienced driver and took care of booking your accommodation during the 14 days of our trip. He helped us with everything we needed and kept an eye on our tour, continually contacting the driver, if there were any problems. Vehicle equipped with navigator, wifi, refrigerator, binoculars, everything needed for the trip. Ultimately it was an unforgettable experience, which Robert totally contributed to make it happen. Alenka Avbar20 August 2024Ravno smo zaključili potovanje po Namibiji z Nissan Navarro 4x4 z 2 šotori za našo štiričlansko družino, izposojenim pri Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. Avto je bil super in oprema za kampiranje, ki jo dobiš z avtom, ima res vse: vse kar rabiš za spanje ( rjuhe, kovtri, povštri, dodatna deka), krožnike, skodelice, pribor, posode, kuhalnik, oprema za žar, hladilnik, miza, stoli, daljnogled, multitool…eno sim kartico z namibijsko številko in enoto za wifi za v avto. Začetek je bil sicer malo neprijeten, kajti dogovorjeni smo bili za prevzem na letališču, a ko smo prispeli, prevoza ni bilo. A od tam naprej je bilo vse super. Zato sem tudi prepričana, da je bil začetek zgolj slučaj, ki se drugače ne pripeti. Prevzeli so nas v prenočišču in kasneje odpeljali tudi do letališča. Ob prevzemu smo šli skupaj čez naš potovalni plan in tudi ko smo imeli vmes težave z vžigom, smo imeli super komunikacijo in vse smo skupaj rešili. Zelo prijazni ljudje, fajn avto. Zelo smo uživali v potovanju in tudi Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals je en del naše lepe izkušnje.Posted on Google

The staff were always punctual and reliable, and the included camping equipment was well-prepared, clean, and thoughtfully organized. Robin Schotborgh8 May 2026We did rent a Hilux with 2 rooftents for a period of almost 3 weeks pas weeks. Contact with the staff was very pleasant from start. Our main point of contact was Jessica who was very reactive and assisted in upfront preparations. Pick-up, instructions and dropoff with Simon was great. Also Robert gave me good suggestion to go fishing with his friend David on the Okavango, which was a great experience. Cars are relatively new, clean and well maintained. Boon13 July 2024Excellent service and meticulously prepared vehicle with gears for a camping experience in Namibia We rental a 4x4 from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 for our 20 days tour of Namibia. Correspondence between Christina was prompt and they provided free sim cards for our phones which was indeed very handy. The car was meticulously prepared to include towel for shower, toilet papers, seasoning for meat and dishwasher cleaning kit. They provided extra sleeping bags in case it gotten too cold as we rented during the winter month which did come in handy. The only complaint we had is the pillow - too small and too soft but we could understand the rational for having such a pillow, as the entire bedding kit folded in with the tentco when it was kept. I would highly recommend this company should anyone wishes to rent a 4x4 for their road trip in Namibia.Posted on Google
Tobias12 August 202621 Tage Roadtrip durch Namibia. Hatten nicht den "Neuwagen" genommen, sondern, schon etwas älteren Hilux mit 2 Dachzelten. Auto war trotzdem in einem super Zustand, 3k km ohne Probleme. Übergabe und Rücknahme haben schnell funktioniert. Zu erwähnen gilt auch, dass ein WLAN im Auto dabei ist und man sich das kaufen der SIM Karte spart. Wenn es Probleme geben sollte ist jemand immer erreichbar und versucht dieses zu lösen. The strong comfortable Hilux took us 4300km far in the most beautiful places of Namibia and botswana. We drove as far as Kasane and had taken the option to leave the car in Botswana. Down to the last detail, this car is equipped to help you cover the great distances. The camping equipment and tent are top! EVERYTHING is simply super organized, you will be picked up at the airport by Naffie (an endearing person to remember) ,The day after the vehicle was handed over by Robert's team , the explanation is adequate and instructive. Afterwards, Robert helps you plot your route and gives the necessary important tips. Keep in mind that there is a left-hand drive in Windhoek , after a long journey this is an adjustment . At the departure from Windhoek Robert helped us by driving in front . Robert is a top manager , you feel that the company is run by him in a purely human, friendly way . Linie lotnicze zgubiły mój bagaż, nie było czasu na czekanie bo plan podróży i rezerwację noclegow zrobione wcześniej. Zaproponowali odebranie mojego bagażu z lotniska i nadanie go do miejscowości gdzie będziemy się zatrzymywać. Uratowało to nasz plan za co jestem bardzo wdzięczna. Samochód przygotowany perfekcyjnie, wszystko czego nam potrzeba na campingach było, namioty pościel wszystko przygotowane idealnie. Wi fi w aucie. Podróżowalismy tym autem 3 tygodnie, obsługa przygotowała nam dokumenty na inne kraje więc spokojnie mogliśmy przekraczać granice. Odbiór z lotniska i transfer na lotnisko, kontakt w każdym momencie jeśli tylko jest potrzeba. Everything was provided and complete - all we had to do was take our food and drinks along. One thing that impressed me right from the start was that they managed to secure a Toyota Hilux 4x4 for us even though we booked only about a month before our trip. Given how popular 4x4 rentals can be in Namibia, especially during peak travel periods, we were very grateful for their help. What really stood out was the level of service. They arranged private transfers from the airport to our accommodation in Windhoek on the first night, from the accommodation to the rental office the next morning, and even from the rental office back to the airport at the end of the trip—all at no additional charge. Having the same driver (shoutout to Simon!) for the transfers made everything seamless and stress-free. During vehicle collection, the team went through the checklist thoroughly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which gave us a lot of confidence before starting the journey as it's our first time driving a 4x4. Another thoughtful touch was that they provided advice on recommended routes and roads to avoid based on current conditions. This local knowledge was extremely helpful and is something we have not experienced with most car rental companies. The vehicle was very well prepared. The tyre pressures were already properly set, and throughout our 12-day journey across Namibia, we had a completely smooth experience without any tyre issues, punctures, or needing to make any adjustments. I also appreciated that there was no requirement to wash the vehicle before returning it. After driving through Namibia's gravel roads and desert landscapes, being able to return the car as-is made the end of the trip much more convenient. Overall, the service was professional, friendly, and genuinely customer-focused. The team went above and beyond to make our Namibia self-drive adventure easy and enjoyable. We had a newer Hilux raider with all the basic recovery equipment, two spares, tire pressure gauge, binoculars for game spotting, cooler, and the truck was equipped with aftermarket TPMS for extra peace of mind. Spent more than a week driving dirt roads, some sand, and eventually back onto tarmac. Vehicle worked great, and Robert was quick to respond via WhatsApp. Oh yeah, they also included a portable WiFi connection and backup sim for emergencies. Das Auto und das Dachzelt waren in perfekten Konditionen. Das Auto erfüllte alle Anforderungen für die Strassen Namibias und man konnte mit ihm sogar durch den Sand in Sossuvlei fahren. Die Campingausrüstung war sehr umfangreich. Wir haben genug warme Decken für die kalten Wüstennächte gekriegt und die Handtücher waren sauber. Man muss von Zuhause nichts selber mitnehmen für das Camping. Bei GoRent kriegst du wirklich alles. Das Service war auch ausgezeichnet. Sehr nette und zuverlässige Leute rund um die Uhr erreichbar. The car was very easy to handle, very RELIABLE and we had fun driving it. We never faced any problem. We didn’t even loose a tyre since they were good quality. The car was FULLY equipped and didn’t miss anything. With the 70 l tank we never had to use the extra fuel canister. The fridge was big and we could have put more things if wanted. It was easy enough to cook with the stove and they also provided a barbecue grill. Service and contact was a 100%. All questions were answered immediately. In our case they booked the Sandwich Harbour tour.They offer a shuttle service to and from the airport, which is very useful since the airport transfer to the capital takes 40 minutes. The car was great and the camping equipment you get with the car really has everything: everything you need for sleeping (sheets, pillows, blankets, extra blanket), plates, cups, cutlery, dishes, cooker, table, chairs, barbecue equipment, binoculars, multitool, one SIM card with a Namibian number and a WiFi unit for the car. The beginning was a bit unpleasant, because we had agreed to pick us up at the airport, but when we arrived, there was no transport. But from there on, everything was great. That's why I'm also convinced that the beginning was just a coincidence that wouldn't have happened otherwise. They picked us up at the hostel and later drove us to the airport. At the time of the pickup, we also went through our itinerary together and even when we had ignition issues in the meantime, we had great communication and we got everything sorted out together. Very friendly people, nice car. Avto je bil super in oprema za kampiranje, ki jo dobiš z avtom, ima res vse: vse kar rabiš za spanje ( rjuhe, kovtri, povštri, dodatna deka), krožnike, skodelice, pribor, posode, kuhalnik, oprema za žar, hladilnik, miza, stoli, daljnogled, multitool…eno sim kartico z namibijsko številko in enoto za wifi za v avto. Začetek je bil sicer malo neprijeten, kajti dogovorjeni smo bili za prevzem na letališču, a ko smo prispeli, prevoza ni bilo. A od tam naprej je bilo vse super. Zato sem tudi prepričana, da je bil začetek zgolj slučaj, ki se drugače ne pripeti. Prevzeli so nas v prenočišču in kasneje odpeljali tudi do letališča. Ob prevzemu smo šli skupaj čez naš potovalni plan in tudi ko smo imeli vmes težave z vžigom, smo imeli super komunikacijo in vse smo skupaj rešili. Zelo prijazni ljudje, fajn avto. The communication with Alisha beforehand was smooth and clear. The staff were always punctual and reliable, and the included camping equipment was well-prepared, clean, and thoughtfully organized. We felt completely safe in the car throughout our entire trip and never had a single issue. Contact with the staff was very pleasant from start. Our main point of contact was Jessica who was very reactive and assisted in upfront preparations. Pick-up, instructions and dropoff with Simon was great. Also Robert gave me good suggestion to go fishing with his friend David on the Okavango, which was a great experience. Cars are relatively new, clean and well maintained. We had no issues with the car during our trip. Correspondence between Christina was prompt and they provided free sim cards for our phones which was indeed very handy. The car was meticulously prepared to include towel for shower, toilet papers, seasoning for meat and dishwasher cleaning kit. They provided extra sleeping bags in case it gotten too cold as we rented during the winter month which did come in handy. The only complaint we had is the pillow - too small and too soft but we could understand the rational for having such a pillow, as the entire bedding kit folded in with the tentco when it was kept. I would highly recommend this company should anyone wishes to rent a 4x4 for their road trip in Namibia.Posted on GoogleTobias12 August 202621 Tage Roadtrip durch Namibia. Hatten nicht den "Neuwagen" genommen, sondern, schon etwas älteren Hilux mit 2 Dachzelten. Auto war trotzdem in einem super Zustand, 3k km ohne Probleme. Übergabe und Rücknahme haben schnell funktioniert. Super ist auch der Shuttle Service zurück zum Flughafen, auch noch dann am nächsten Tag. Zu erwähnen gilt auch, dass ein WLAN im Auto dabei ist und man sich das kaufen der SIM Karte spart. Wenn es Probleme geben sollte ist jemand immer erreichbar und versucht dieses zu lösen. Our journey would never have been possible without our loyal ally (4x4). The strong comfortable Hilux took us 4300km far in the most beautiful places of Namibia and botswana. We drove as far as Kasane and had taken the option to leave the car in Botswana. Down to the last detail, this car is equipped to help you cover the great distances. The camping equipment and tent are top! EVERYTHING is simply super organized, you will be picked up at the airport by Naffie (an endearing person to remember) ,The day after the vehicle was handed over by Robert's team , the explanation is adequate and instructive. Afterwards, Robert helps you plot your route and gives the necessary important tips. Keep in mind that there is a left-hand drive in Windhoek , after a long journey this is an adjustment . Linie lotnicze zgubiły mój bagaż, nie było czasu na czekanie bo plan podróży i rezerwację noclegow zrobione wcześniej. Zaproponowali odebranie mojego bagażu z lotniska i nadanie go do miejscowości gdzie będziemy się zatrzymywać. Uratowało to nasz plan za co jestem bardzo wdzięczna. Samochód przygotowany perfekcyjnie, wszystko czego nam potrzeba na campingach było, namioty pościel wszystko przygotowane idealnie. Wi fi w aucie. Podróżowalismy tym autem 3 tygodnie, obsługa przygotowała nam dokumenty na inne kraje więc spokojnie mogliśmy przekraczać granice. Odbiór z lotniska i transfer na lotnisko, kontakt w każdym momencie jeśli tylko jest potrzeba. Everything was provided and complete - all we had to do was take our food and drinks along.
