Amazing communication, car was in perfect condition, didn’t have any issues in our three weeks. Smooth pick up and drop off from the airport.

Make sure you watch all the videos before hand because we didn’t 🙃 Luckily nothing happend and most information we didn’t need but still. Would have saved us some stress!

This was my best car rental experience to date. The service was top-notch, from communication to helping us arrange transportation to the hotel and the airport the next day. Robert (the owner) and his team went above and beyond, even allowing us to use an internet router on our last night in Windhoek (after we returned the car),so we could connect to the internet (Airalo e-SIM cards don't work in Namibia, be careful). You will get two SIM cards with the car. One with 25 Gb internet + another one for the calls.

The car was nearly new. Toyota Hilux 4x4 with automatic gear box was very comfortable. Car is fully equipped. We didn’t even use half of the equipment on board. You will find everything you need. Hint: No need to take a sleeping bag. The tent on the top has duvets and pillows. As well as clean towels.

I can fully recommend this Car rental company. We had a great 10-days trip.

Unparalleled 4x4 rental with amazing service. The vehicle was in tip top condition with few miles on the clock. We hired it for 5 weeks and it performed faultlessly. Robert and his team - with special mentions for Simon and Alicia - went above and beyond to brief us in a relaxed way about driving in Namibia and support us during our visit. When my wife’s passport was lost/stolen they were amazingly helpful. They (Simon) drove our two companions many miles to our next destination (in South Africa!) while we awaited an emergency passport, and then Alicia personally delivered the passport to us at a lodge in the Kalahari. 24 días conduciendo por Namibia y Botsuana.
Para nuestro primer viaje por Namibia y Botsuana decidimos alquilar un 4x4 de la marca Nissan NP300 con equipo de camping completo (tienda de campaña, utensilios de cocina, mesa, sillas, nevera, prismáticos, etc). El coche estaba en perfecto estado, muy fiable y equipado con muy buenos neumáticos. El primer día tuvimos un percance y pinchamos pero al tener el material necesario pudimos arreglarlo sin ningún problema.
En cuanto al trato con los trabajadores de la empresa, ha sido espectualar; Robert nos explico todo lo que debíamos saber con exactitud e intentaba que nos quedase todo claro haciendo explicaciones en castellano. Además, a la hora de hacer el pago como en España nos daba error pudimos hacer todo el pago allí mismo el día de la recogida del vehículo.
Por otra parte, en la mitad de nuestro recorrido tuvimos un percance (se nos rompió la dirección del coche), nada mas comunicarlo nos dio una solución y al día siguiente estabamos en un tayer arreglándolo sin afectar a nuestro itinerario.
Por último, el trayecto del aeropuerto a la ciudad esta cubierto, es decir, te llevan el primer día y el último de tu estancia, gesto que se agradece ya que el aeropuerto no esta muy cerca de la ciudad. Por lo tanto, recomendamos %100 alquilar con la empresa Go Rent.

We had an incredible experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. My colleagues and I were traveling for work and only had time for a very quick (2 night) last minute trip. Robert and his colleagues were so accommodating in letting us book only 2 days in advance. The vehicle had absolutely everything we needed for our short trip to Swakopmund. We were highly impressed with how thorough the team was in packing supplies for us. The wifi worked extremely well, and the tents were comfortable and large. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a camping experience who might have limited supplies/planning time!!! Go Rent Namibia 4x4 is so much more than a rental service. Piet, Christina and Simon were our guardian angels throughout our Namibia adventure. I cannot recommend them enough for their incredible support, advice and excellent communication, both during the planning and throughout our actual road trip.

Their local knowledge, thoughtful advice and genuine consideration of our specific trip requirements were 10/10. I often found myself saying, “Piet was right!” throughout the trip, which says a lot about how valuable their advice was.

As first-time 4x4 and roof-tent travellers, we were a little unsure of what to expect, but the whole experience was seamless. Everything was handled with great care and attention, and we always felt that we were in very good hands.

I don’t usually leave reviews on Google Maps or TripAdvisor, but I’m making an exception because the experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals was truly outstanding.

We were a group of nine students and were warmly welcomed by Robert and Simon, who took great care of us from start to finish. The free airport transfer to our accommodation and the following day’s ride to the agency made things so smooth. Each car came with a Wi-Fi hotspot and a local SIM card. All the camping equipment was included: sleeping bags, pillows, utensils, lamps, chairs, tables, and more. Robert even added a tent, mattress, and extra bedding free of charge so that no one had to sleep in the car. Binoculars and walkie-talkies were also thoughtfully provided. Moreover, Robert reviewed our itinerary with us and gave valuable advice on places to visit.

On the day of our return, we unfortunately hit a warthog. With very limited time before our flight, Robert was incredibly responsive, guided us through remote repair steps with video instructions, and ensured we didn’t miss our flight.

The customer service was excellent throughout. I highly recommend this agency for its flexibility, kindness, and professionalism ☺️

4x4 that we rented was exceptional, perfectly equipped for our family trip (2 adults, 3 children). Each tent had a comfortable mattress, with pillows, duvets and sleeping bags provided - a real comfort. The service was impeccable, with detailed explanations from the beginning. Świetna wypożyczalnia, a przede wszystkim bardzo życzliwi i pomocni pracownicy. Szczególnie chciałbym podziękować właścicielowi - Robertowi, który w profesjonalny sposób zaopiekował się całą naszą grupą (wypożyczaliśmy 4 samochody, w tym 2 na 4 tygodnie), omówił wszystkie sprawy związane z bezpiecznym użytkowaniem aut, a jego sugestie dotyczące miejsc wartych odwiedzenia, restauracji, a nawet campów - w 10. Kontakt podczas całej wyprawy, niezależnie od dnia / godziny, gdy tylko coś potrzebowaliśmy lub mieliśmy wątpliwości. Super kontakt, uprzejmość, życzliwość i pomoc także uzyskaliśmy ze strony Simona, dziękujemy. Samochody to nowe Toyoty Hilux, rocznik 2024/2025, z przebiegiem około 70-80000 km. Świetne przygotowane, opony super, koła zapasowe 2, nie przydały się mimo jazdy w trudnym terenie. Wyposażenie campingowe, aż nadto, 4 wielkie skrzynie, więc właściwie noc nie trzeba brać ze sobą. W namiotach kołdry, poduszki, koce... My mieliśmy własne śpiwory, bo lubimy, jetboila, żeby szybko gotować wodę - resztę znajdziecie w wyposażeniu. Nawet power station dostaliśmy! I przydała się na tych campach, na których nie było prądu, a są takie! Podsumowując, świetna wypożyczalnia, doskonały kontakt mailowy przed wyjazdem (wszystkie ustalenia zaakceptowane - np. wjazd do Botswany), świetne nowe auta.

Great experience. The cars were absolutely equipped and they run very nicely. The tends were super comfortable, easy to get ready and with blankets and pillows enough to camp even in colder areas. When we were given the cars, all the staff explained in detail how to set everything up, the equipment inside each box, how to fix a flat tire, how to use the 4x4, etc. Special thanks to Simon for all the explanations for the use of the car and how he treated us and picked and dropped us at the airport. We had a problem with the tires during the trip. The communication with Robert, the manager, was easy and he prepared the logistics for a tire change in one of our stops along the journey we were doing so that it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. They were all very helpful and reachable. Overall I would really recommend this company if you are looking for a 4x4 with camping equipment for your trip through Namibia. The experience was excellent. As the first point of interaction with Namibia, the team set the tone for the whole trip. From the complimetary airport transfer, refreshments and orientation for the vehicle and road conditions, you are met with friendliness, courtesy and efficiency.  The vehicle was fun and reliable, able to effectively deal with all the varying terrain we encountered. The camping equipment provided proved efficient. From basic spices to bedding, everything was carefully considered.

Szczerze polecam tę wypożyczalnie. Począwszy od bardzo dobrej organizacji (transport z i na lotnisko, płynny odbiór i zdanie samochodu, responsywność na Whatsapp). Same samochody są nowe i swietnie utrzymane - przejechaliśmy 2300 km i ani razu nie napotkaliśmy problemu. Rented a Hilux with roof tent for a 3 week self-drive around Namibia. Vehicle and camping equipment were all in excellent condition and we managed to avoid a flat tire the entire 3 weeks despite driving on some very rough roads. The pricing was clear and I liked that the quote included windscreen and tire insurance coverage. Some of the other companies will give you a lower initial quote because there will be various fees added on later. Communication was quick whenever we needed to contact the office during our trip. I've rented a 4×4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent with Go Rent Namibia and my experience was very good. Their cars are new, with everything you need for a smooth camping experience (and I really mean everything). Also, we felt very supported by their team on all steps of our trip (thank you Christina and Jessica!). During our 2-week drive we had a minor issue with 2 broken locks on the back of the car (this was not the company's fault) and their team immediately directed us to a car shop in the vicinity of our location, which fixed the problem in 30 minutes, free of charge. Amazing rental place. We went for a trip to victoria falls and this rental place was really perfect to do that. They were very flexible and helped us a lot with crossing all borders for our trip and helping with the itinerary. We rented a 4x4 with two roof tents and travelled for two weeks. It was an amazing experience from first contact all the way to check out. The team was very helpful in answering all my pre-booking questions. Booking went smoothly and then at check-in we had a great experience with Robert taking the time to help us finalise the trip planning and giving us some amazing tips. Alicia helped us finish off the contract and the payment and Simon was great in showing us how to use the car and camping gear.
All the camping material was very high quality and easy to use.
This team takes such care in all the small details and always available on WhatsApp throughout our trip for any questions or support.

Ci ha fornito un veicolo praticamente nuovo, molto comodo, dotato di tutti i confort: asciugamani, piatti, bicchieri, flute, compressore, vanga, graticola, fili per il bucato, detersivo, spugna, strofinaccio, posate, tavolo, sedie, fiammiferi, fornelletto con tre bombolette di gas, frigor, bollitore, tegami, insomma chi più ne ha ne metta! La tenda era di dimensioni perfette per dormire due persone, dotata di materassino alto circa 9 cm, cuscini, sacchi a pelo, trapunta leggera e pesante. Il tutto con odore e profumo di pulito. Cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo! Mai avuto mal di schiena. Un ringraziamento ad Alicia che ci ha prontamente curato la parte amministrativa e si è dimostrata una ragazza professionale, affidabile e simpatica. È stato veramente un piacere averla conosciuta. Ed infine, ma non per ultimo, un grande abbraccio a Simon che, con pazienza e serenità ci ha minuziosamente spiegato il funzionamento della jeep e di tutti gli accessori. Robert, Alicia e Simon siete veramente bravi! Sarà per noi un piacere potervi consigliare a tutte le persone che vorranno venire in Namibia!

EXCEPTIONAL! Do yourself a favour and book your rental with Go Rent Namibia. As it's a small operation versus many of the others, it means you get a really tailored experience and a small team really focused on your experience. Excellent loueur avec relation client de qualité et un accueil efficace et prévenant. Le véhicule fourni (4x4 avec tente de toit) et tous les accessoires de camping étaient très bien: tout est prévu jusqu’aux allumettes pour le BBQ. Malgré des problèmes avec le frigo qui est tombé en panne 2 fois, Robert le responsable a chaque fois trouvé une solution de dépannage rapide grâce à son réseau de garages partenaires (chaque fois la réparation a été très rapide en une heure). Great experience with GoRent
We had a great experience renting our tented Toyota Hilux 4 x 4 from Robert and the team. They provide a transfer to and from the airport which is very helpful. Even when there was a misunderstanding about the pick up day from the airport they paid for our taxi into Winhoek. Not only that, due to the misunderstanding, Robert pulled out all the stops to make it up to us (which he really didn't need to do, as it really had minimal impact on us and gave us a bit more time to sort a few things out at the aiport). This included making sure we had a top notch car and even giving us a bunch if beers and 2 bottles of wine!) The car was brilliant and the camping equipment was in great condition. We had everything we could have needed on our trip. We had one issue with the car during our 3 week trip where the traction control light wouldn't go off after we had used the 4 x 4 mode driving on sand in Swakopmund. Robert was very responsive and supportive about the issue and we got it into a close by garage and got it sorted out very quickly (they just had to turn the light off in the end so no real issue). Robert was very focused on not delaying us or impacting our trip which I thought was a really great attitude. We did a few excursions requiring use of the 4×4 and the car worked perfectly - we were surprised at how easily it managed the tough terrain. Finally, even though there was a small bit or wear and tear on the car during our use of it (which we agonised over due to our budget!). Robert was very understanding and didn't ask for any money for this which was massively appreciated. All in all a great experience with GoRent and I would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing experience renting our 4x4 vehicle with Go Rent Namibia. The staff was incredibly patient with our booking, very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Just perfect - overdelivered on my expectations
Perfect! I rented an almost new Hilux with rooftop for a roundtrip through Namibia. Car was equipped with really everything, staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything. After the first day there where some unclear issues with the car and they send a new car instantly to meet me on road and exchange it - just to be sure and i would not have to worry. Good cars and very nice people!
The communication with Alicia & Jessica was very pleasant and clear from the beginning. We were sent several instruction videos in advance and got a good explanation about the route through Robert and about the car & accompanying camping gear from Simon. The car was still very new and the camping gear contained everything we needed and more (like the wifi device). The price/quality ratio was really fantastic. The only way to see Namibia.
First and foremost, Namibia is the most beautiful country I have ever visited. Renting a truck with tents on top is the only way of seeing everything the huge country has to offer whilst remaining flexible in terms of timings (which is helpful). We rented an excellent Nissan truck with two tents on top. The car was very reliable and we never had an issue (we saw lots of people with punctures but due to some high spec tyres which are more puncture resistant and give pressure readings live to the dash this wasn’t a problem for us). The cars are equipped with everything you could ever wish for; large fridge, WiFi, Garmin, cooking equipment, the list goes on). The roof tents are ultra comfortable and spacious. We planned to spend a few nights at lodges but ended up not doing so given how comfortable the tents were. Could not recommend Namibia 4X4 highly enough!

Great renting experience, highly recommed the company!
Our journey around Namibia proved to be a perfect adventure! Great country to visit and explore :) A superb Service from Robert and his rental company helped a lot to the experience. The vehicle, the camping gear to go around the country everything was perfect. We got all necessary gear in a great shape, for camping, cooking, washing, solar lights etc. We did not use our sleeping bags at all as everything for sleeping in the tents was provided as well. The airport transfer and collection/drop off was seamless. We were offered a welcome cold drinks and facing the heat coming from the cold EU it was a very pleasant gesture from Robert. The rental experience itself was great. The car was bulletproof, gear in order, car well equipped even for any potential emergency case like tyre puncture or similar. The car had bright new off road tires and we did not face any defect whatsoever. In car WiFi with 18GB data was a really nice service specially for the kids. I highly recommend. If you do not have a pair with you, ask for binoculars for game viewing it pays off (we had 3 and sometimes even this was not enough :) ). We also felt very safe going around having constant contact to Robert if needed. And he was occasionally even checking on us if everything is ok and if we need something. The truck / camping gear was in an amazing condition and included everything  (and more) we needed for a perfect camping roadtrip. We recently stayed in Namibia for 2 weeks and rented a 4x4 at GoRent Namibia 4x4 Rentals to explore (only a fraction of) this amazingly beautiful country. The experience was GREAT!

We were picked up at the airport in Windhoek by Rian - a very nice and friendly guy. Once at the office/pickup location we met Robert where we had a very nice conversation with him and Rian until we were given a detailed introduction to our driving home for the next 2 weeks.

The car was clean and in top shape, as was the roof top tent and the camping equipment that came with the car (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.).

During our trip we saw amazing landscapes, animals and met great people. Unfortunately though, we ran into some issues with the ignition lock that got stuck so it took us like 20min to turn on the car, as well as a dead fridge battery just days before entering Etosha National Park.

Fortunately, we could rely on Rian's support. After WhatsApping him, we found us pulling into his friend Philipp's repair shop in Outjo after just a few hours driving from Uis - of course without turning off the engine ;) They repaired the defective lock and replaced the fridge battery within a few hours while we were running some errands downtown. Thank you for you kind support!!!

After an amazing 2 weeks, we sadly returned the car in Windhoek and were dropped off at the airport by Rian again.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support, Rian and Robert! We really appreciated it! We are hoping to see you again soon!

Best Car Rental Ever!!!!
I never experienced such an excellent service with a car rental company.
When our flight into Windhoek was delayed for 15 hours, Robert filled up the car with drinks and snacks, so we could start our trip already the next day.
Also the return of the car was very chilled and relaxed in the office with a cold beer at the bar.

We wholeheartedly recommend this car rental company. The car is very clean and well-kept. The offer included the latest Toyota Hilux with a clean tent on the roof. Very helpful and friendly owners who gave a lot of helpful travel tips. The owner showed how to unfold and fold the tent. The car had all the necessary equipment, including two refrigerators, chairs and a table. Not to mention the plates and cutlery. Todo genial. La comunicación previa al viaje estupenda. El vehículo (un toyota hilux) funcionaba de maravilla, muy bien equipado. El montaje de la tienda es rápido y fácil. We rented a 4x4 equipped with two rooftop tents, which were very comfortable. Everything went smoothly, and although we never needed it, it was reassuring to know that client support was always available if required.
