fbroquier10 August 2024Perfect 4x4 Rental to visit Namibia ⭐️ Thanks to the whole team - 4x4 was perfect: new , very well equipped, everything is thought out, nothing is missing , in every detail (fridge of course , tables , chairs , all kitchen utensils, gas stove ...) . The 4x4 is very comfortable. The rooftop tents are easy to use and very convenient. Even when there are 2 tents. We slept well, the mattress and pillows are comfortable - perfect service: the whole Robert team is smiling, friendly and efficient (Christina, Simon and Robert of course) . Everything is explained, they take the time, are available. Including Robert 👍🏻 Top service: at the airport both outbound and return , pick up the vehicle, and available via whatsapp during the trip if needed We left at 3 (2 adults and 1 teenager) for 17 days and drove 3400 km. After the renting was over, he gave us a car for free for the whole day, so we could get around Windhoek for a day since our flight was canceled. To top it one of his team even drove us to the airport! What more can we say? We have complete trust in him after seeing how he takes care of his customers, whom he turns into friends. Robert and his team deliver top-quality cars in perfect condition, all recent Hilux models, and go the extra mile to accommodate your wishes. The fact that the company is owner-operated clearly makes a huge difference. From changes in pick-up and return times to the easy-going way with which changing plants are accommodated (and a great cappuccino on the way out!), this is by far the very best car rental company I've ever dealt with. Quote and Reservation by email very easy, and we pick you up at the airport. 4x4 in excellent condition (0 puncture), and everything you need to camp. The big pluses: 4G chip and wifi terminal, ideal for browsing, and you can reach them at any time on whatsapp in case of problems. JT1421 August 2024Excellent vehicle and service. Would give 6* Found these guys via Goggle and they made our trip to Namibia totally stress free. They operate out of a location near downtown - about 3 mins from where we spent our first and last nights (the Hilton). Arranged to collect and drop at the airport, met at hotel to hand over the vehicle the next day, SIM card for my phone, wifi in the Hilux etc etc. They had thought of everything to make it stress free. The vehicle itself was fantastic. Sparkling clean and fresh (when we picked it up!). A dream to drive on Namibia's unpaved roads. The team really explain well how to operate it, manage tyre pressures etc. The people are just lovely. Answered any questions by WhatsApp immediately (imagine that happening with Hertz!) Be aware, Namibia is absolutely huge. Google maps overestimates the times to drive (if you're confident on unpaved roads) but be aware that you are covering massive distances. Made me laugh - for example - that the Cape Cross seal colony is a Swakopmund attraction. It's 120km north. But this is the vehicle to make it comfortable. Do not drive after dark. I did 30 mins after sunset on the motorway to get back to Windhoek. It's another world to driving in the day, and a 2 lane road would wipe you out in no time with oncoming lights. I can't comment on the price/value except that I didn't get a comparison because i) it was fair and ii) the service was exceptional. Use these guys - they're just fantastic. per wassberg22 December 2024We rented 2 fully camping equiped Toyota Highlux for a bit over two weeks in Dec 2024. Everything we needed including wi-fi were in the cars and we also got very quick feedback and solution to replace a malfunctioned fridge on one of the cars. Overall the Toyotas were in a good shape and we could enjoy our trip around Namibia. The double tank we had on one of the cars was both useful and appreciated in the more remote areas. The ride from the hotel to the airport a couple of days after we delivered the cars back was a nice gestaure. 😁👍 Actually we had such a good time and good experiance with the rental company we decided we have to come back and do the Nam - Botswana - Nam loop, and yes we will use Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals again. 😁Posted on Google

Line TR28 September 2024I have no word to describe how incredible the adventure in this car was ! 13 nights during which we drove from south to north of Namibia. Tent and car were amazing. I can only recommend you this company! During the month of September in the south and along the coast, temperatures were low at night and in the morning, but thanks to blankets and sleeping bags included in the price, nights were much more confortable. The service during the stay was perfect thanks to Robert. He was available at anytime for any question or issue we could have. Go Rent Namibia allowed us to have such great holidays. Frank F31 July 2023A great round-trip through the North of Namibia I was for a business trip in Namibia, and luckily, I had six days off. The colleagues from Go Rent managed to bring the jeep directly to our hotel, gave us a professional introduction into the safety features. needless to say that the jeep was in a perfect technical condition. I mean to travel Namibia is not like travelling in Europe! I personally lavoed the tyre pressure control device - this is a really useful gimmick. I saw on the road others with destroyed tyres, who mentioned the pressure loss to late! The tent was in good condition, everything clean and fresh. Klemen B6 January 2024Great renting experience, highly recommed the company! Our journey around Namibia proved to be a perfect adventure! Great country to visit and explore :) A superb Service from Robert and his rental company helped a lot to the experience. The vehicle, the camping gear to go around the country everything was perfect. We got all necessary gear in a great shape, for camping, cooking, washing, solar lights etc. We did not use our sleeping bags at all as everything for sleeping in the tents was provided as well. The airport transfer and collection/drop off was seamless. We were offered a welcome cold drinks and facing the heat coming from the cold EU it was a very pleasant gesture from Robert. The rental experience itself was great. The car was bulletproof, gear in order, car well equipped even for any potential emergency case like tyre puncture or similar. The car had bright new off road tires and we did not face any defect whatsoever. In car WiFi with 18GB data was a really nice service specially for the kids. I highly recommend. If you do not have a pair with you, ask for binoculars for game viewing it pays off (we had 3 and sometimes even this was not enough :) ). We also felt very safe going around having constant contact to Robert if needed. And he was occasionally even checking on us if everything is ok and if we need something. From the moment we arrived we received a free airport transfer, met the owner, had coffee and a chance to discuss our route and the owner , Robbert gave us loads of ideas on things like petrol stops etc. The car was fully equipped with everything we could need for 2 weeks and we had two spare tyres which we didnt need. The car was well maintained and we had no concerns during our journey. We were also able to contact Robbert directly whilst en route with questions we had, which we did. Very useful the fridge, additional blankets, dishes and the necessary for cooking and BBQ, in addition to the tent. We made a 25-day trip and covered over 5,000 km. Everything perfect no problem. We were picked up from the airport as agreed, and even our delay was not an issue.Our driver Sam was friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of important information about the car and general traffic regulations.Our car was in excellent condition, well equipped, including a navigation system, Wi-Fi router in the car and a SIM card for emergency calling. Captain Cyclops31 October 2023We recently stayed in Namibia for 2 weeks and rented a 4x4 at GoRent Namibia 4x4 Rentals to explore (only a fraction of) this amazingly beautiful country. The experience was GREAT! We were picked up at the airport in Windhoek by Rian - a very nice and friendly guy. Once at the office/pickup location we met Robert where we had a very nice conversation with him and Rian until we were given a detailed introduction to our driving home for the next 2 weeks. The car was clean and in top shape, as was the roof top tent and the camping equipment that came with the car (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). During our trip we saw amazing landscapes, animals and met great people. Unfortunately though, we ran into some issues with the ignition lock that got stuck so it took us like 20min to turn on the car, as well as a dead fridge battery just days before entering Etosha National Park. Fortunately, we could rely on Rian's support. After WhatsApping him, we found us pulling into his friend Philipp's repair shop in Outjo after just a few hours driving from Uis - of course without turning off the engine ;) They repaired the defective lock and replaced the fridge battery within a few hours while we were running some errands downtown. Thank you for you kind support!!! After an amazing 2 weeks, we sadly returned the car in Windhoek and were dropped off at the airport by Rian again. Thank you so much for your kindness and support, Rian and Robert! We really appreciated it! We are hoping to see you again soon! Feli8 October 2025Wir haben unser 4x4 Geländefahrzeug mit Dachzelt bei GoRent gemietet. Das Auto und das Dachzelt waren in perfekten Konditionen. Das Auto erfüllte alle Anforderungen für die Strassen Namibias und man konnte mit ihm sogar durch den Sand in Sossuvlei fahren. Die Campingausrüstung war sehr umfangreich. Wir haben genug warme Decken für die kalten Wüstennächte gekriegt und die Handtücher waren sauber. Man muss von Zuhause nichts selber mitnehmen für das Camping. Bei GoRent kriegst du wirklich alles. Das Service war auch ausgezeichnet. Sehr nette und zuverlässige Leute rund um die Uhr erreichbar. It can be daunting renting in a foreign country but this company was amazing! Not only did the truck perform absolutely flawlessly, but the customer service is top notch, as the owner picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and was in touch via whatsap during the trip just to make sure all was okay. It made us feel that we had strong support should something happen in some of the more remote areas. Also, there were extras thrown in for free with the truck that were very helpful. In fact, it felt more like a friend helping out instead of someone just going through the motions for work. It was also such a hassle free and pleasant experience that it truly made the trip so successful. Efficient Reliable Fun The experience was excellent. As the first point of interaction with Namibia, the team set the tone for the whole trip. Alenka A21 August 2024A good choice for renting a 4x4 car to travel around Namibia We have just finished a trip around Namibia with a Nissan Navarro 4x4 with 2 tents for our family of four, rented from Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. The car was great and the camping equipment you get with the car really has everything: everything you need for sleeping (sheets, pillows, blankets, extra blanket), plates, cups, cutlery, dishes, cooker, table, chairs, barbecue equipment, binoculars, multitool, one SIM card with a Namibian number and a WiFi unit for the car. The beginning was a bit unpleasant, because we had agreed to pick us up at the airport, but when we arrived, there was no transport. But from there on, everything was great. That's why I'm also convinced that the beginning was just a coincidence that wouldn't have happened otherwise. They picked us up at the hostel and later drove us to the airport. hermione s13 March 2024I’d book again in a heart beat GO RENT truck and camping hire was brilliant. My boyfriend and I had never been to Namibia before, so we’re anticipating our trip with a bit of uncertainty. However from the moment Robert picked us up from the airport we felt relaxed. The team gave us a thorough and careful briefing before we set off for 8 days of camping. The van was in great condition and all the camping equipment was thought about. We would book again through GO RENT in a heart beat and are already planning our next trip to Namibia- an exceptionally special and beautiful of country. Jessica Halpern21 August 2025Everything was perfect, from pickup at Windhoek airport (after a 2 hour line for passport control!) to pickup arranged at our hotel on the last morning for the return trip to the airport. The 4x4 has everything you need, even a good pair of binoculars, and the 25 giga sim card lasted the four of us until halfway through the last day. It was especially cold for the first few days of our trip, but the tents and bedding kept us warm enough even when the temperature dropped to 3 degrees C overniight. Hans Bergmann28 August 2026Wir haben ausschließlich beste Erfahrungen mit Go Rent Namibia gemacht. Der neuwertige Toyota Hilux 4x4 Double Cab mit Dachzelt war in einem erstklassigen Zustand. Die Campingausstattung war sehr umfangreich, saubere Handtücher, warme Decken und Schlafsäcke waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Service des ganzen Teams war hervorragend. Christina war stets erreichbar, um im Vorfeld, als auch während der Reise zu unterstützen und alle Fragen zu beantworten. Die Übergabe und Einweisung mit Robert und Simon war perfekt. Wir wurden trotz Flugverspätung noch abends am Flughafen abgeholt, um die Fahrzeugübergabe am nächsten Morgen nachholen zu können. Szczególnie chciałbym podziękować właścicielowi - Robertowi, który w profesjonalny sposób zaopiekował się całą naszą grupą (wypożyczaliśmy 4 samochody, w tym 2 na 4 tygodnie), omówił wszystkie sprawy związane z bezpiecznym użytkowaniem aut, a jego sugestie dotyczące miejsc wartych odwiedzenia, restauracji, a nawet campów - w 10. Kontakt podczas całej wyprawy, niezależnie od dnia / godziny, gdy tylko coś potrzebowaliśmy lub mieliśmy wątpliwości. Super kontakt, uprzejmość, życzliwość i pomoc także uzyskaliśmy ze strony Simona, dziękujemy. Samochody to nowe Toyoty Hilux, rocznik 2024/2025, z przebiegiem około 70-80000 km. Świetne przygotowane, opony super, koła zapasowe 2, nie przydały się mimo jazdy w trudnym terenie. Wyposażenie campingowe, aż nadto, 4 wielkie skrzynie, więc właściwie noc nie trzeba brać ze sobą. W namiotach kołdry, poduszki, koce... My mieliśmy własne śpiwory, bo lubimy, jetboila, żeby szybko gotować wodę - resztę znajdziecie w wyposażeniu. Nawet power station dostaliśmy! I przydała się na tych campach, na których nie było prądu, a są takie! Podsumowując, świetna wypożyczalnia, doskonały kontakt mailowy przed wyjazdem (wszystkie ustalenia zaakceptowane - np. wjazd do Botswany), świetne nowe auta.Posted on Google
Tim19 October 2026De Toyota Hillux met dektent was super voor onze 2 weken vakantie in Namibië. De route was samen besproken op locatie, daarbij kregen we tips over lokale wegen en wat waar we vooral op moesten letten. Daarnaast goede communicatie ervaren.
