We had such a lovely trip to Namibia, and I can’t recommend Go Rent Namibia enough. The vehicle came fully equipped and was perfect for our journey - reliable, comfortable, and easy to handle. The rental process was smooth and stress-free, and the whole team was incredibly helpful and friendly. Special mention to Jessica and Simon for all their help, and to Robert and Simon for all the fantastic travel advice - it truly came in handy along the way. The in-car WiFi was a lifesaver for navigation and staying connected. We had absolutely no issues with the vehicle, even over a long and adventurous route. This was truly one of the best services I’ve ever experienced. The communication with Alisha beforehand was smooth and clear. The staff were always punctual and reliable, and the included camping equipment was well-prepared, clean, and thoughtfully organized. We felt completely safe in the car throughout our entire trip and never had a single issue. I had a great experience with this company. The car was brand-new (even upgraded vs what I had booked), the camping equipment complete. I had everything I needed and more. Christina assisted me in a thorough and friendly way during enquiry phase and booking. Simon was a friendly driver both from and to the airport. Finally, Robert gave me complete info about the car and suggestions on the itinerary. The only issue I had on the trip (rental unrelated) was the classic tyre puncture. When that happened communication with Robert was prompt and efficient. As he accidentally was in the same area I was he even dropped by to make sure everything was fixed properly. Our experience with Go Rent Namibia Our experience with Go Rent Namibia was absolutely wonderful. From the very first contact, the team was friendly, approachable, and highly professional. Communication was excellent at all times, both before and during the trip, which gave us great peace of mind. We rented a brand-new Toyota Hilux in perfect condition, and it performed flawlessly throughout our journey in Namibia. It was clear that the vehicle was well maintained and fully equipped to handle all types of terrain — essential in a country like this. Another highlight was the quality of the camping equipment. We’ve traveled with other similar companies before, but the level of detail, comfort, and care with Go Rent Namibia is far above average. The rooftop tents were especially easy to set up and take down, making each stop smooth and hassle-free. We highly recommend Go Rent Namibia to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and well-supported travel experience. Thank you so much Robert for your amazing service! We loved our nissan that took us around for 6000 km between Namibia and Botswana in 18 days, and was just great! The camping equipment was super, the bed comfy and the rooftop tent very easy to open and close, and we really took advantage of the complementary binoculars, namibian simcard and wifi(18 GB!) We got no punctures in our wheels (special wheels that are almost impossible to puncture), but having the wheel monitor was an extrasafety which we really appreciated. Robert is always available and ready to help. One of our back car fenders broke but was covered by the insurance. After this amazing holiday we enjoyed one last night in the great apartment they have for rent, and enjoyed a day with Robert and his beautiful family. Trip of lifetime!!!!! Leche! If that’s how you spell it. When you know you know. Bloody fantastic Bespoke trip catered for our tick list. Ticked boxes I didn’t even know I had! Fishing, wildlife, adrenaline activities, glorious scenery, sunrises and sun sets I could only imagine. + plenty of bria (bbq) and maybe few drinks to boot. This review is long overdue. We can’t say enough about the owners and people who are GoRent. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive and helped us navigate some problematic situations on our trip. Before heading out, they spent time with us to review our self-drive plan through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, making valuable suggestions and stayed in touch via WhatsApp. Whatever we needed, they were there. The vehicle we originally rented was a Nissan but when we picked it up it turned out to be a Toyota Hilux which was a plus. The vehicle was almost new and in great condition. It performed beautifully and was extremely capable. This is the vehicle you want for Africa as the roads are often difficult to navigate once not on the main roads. The sand is deep and the roads narrow. The vehicle handled it effortlessly. The only comments for improvement we have is the gear and kitchen and how they are set up for travel was less than ideal and made food storage and prep highly unorganized. There should be additional bins providing valuable space for groceries and dry items. We were also provided with a gas stove that was powered by butane cannisters that were nearly impossible to find outside of Windhoek (every outlet sold regular propane gas bottles). The cannisters lasted a very short period of time. Thankfully we brought our own WindBurner system and found camping gas in the City before leaving and relied on the braai facilities at campsites. The refrigerator was not reliable and stopped working a few times. We managed to fix it each time, but it was extremely frustrating. We discussed these openly with the owners who were aware of some of these issues and are proactively working on better solutions. We are confident they will remedy these shortcomings as they are personally invested in the company and are an amazing group of people. We highly recommend them. For the family of GoRent, and a special thanks to Robert and Christina, if you are ever in Canada, we’d love to see you and thank you for all your help and support on our trip. Totally recommended Our experience with Go Rent Namibia has been great.The car, a massive Toyota Hilux, was all we needed for the challenging Namibian roads and has been our loyal friend for about 2300 kilometers, most of them spent on gravel or desert roads. Fantastic rental company, very friendly and helpful owners and staff. I rented a hilux camping for 1 pax. It was all in perfect working order. It's not all brand new, but what's more important is the quality of the equipment. The tyres chosen are very hard to puncture and excellent quality, the suspension very resilient. The roof tent was good and sturdy, help massive rain storm nicely. For a single person the kitchen items in boxes instead to pullout drawers may not be ideal as you have to log around the boxed, but I am sure there are downsides to the drawer system as well. Due to an unusual emergency I had to shorten the trip. The owner were very understanding and incredibly helpful. Thanks so much. When I come back, I will definitely choose them again.

Absolute 1000% recommendation for this rental company. The entire process couldn’t have been smoother. Robert was instrumental in helping us plan a doable itinerary, Simon was great when picking us up and explaining the car and Alicia was working to provide us with the necessary papers. They went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience including extra transfers, wifi, help with the itinerary and questions about the gear were addressed quickly over WhatsApp. The car had everything we needed and the rooftents provide exceptional space and comfort. Unforgettable experience My wife and I had a trip of a lifetime coming to Namibia for 10 days to celebrate our combined 60th birthday. A big part of what made this trip special and memorable was the extraordinary service and hospitality provided by Robert and his team. The vehicle was almost brand new, spotless and extremely comfortable and suited to the very tough terrain of Namibia. Robert not only gave us a local SIM card so that we had mobile coverage but also in-car WiFi which ensured we could use Google maps which we desperately needed to navigate our way around in sometimes very remote areas. Wir waren als allein reisendes Ehepaar 22 Tage in einem Toyota Hilux 4x4 DCab mit Dachzelt u. Campingausstattung für 2 Pers. 21 Tage in Namibia u. Botswana unterwegs. Die Entscheidung für Go Rent Namibia  als Autovermieter war für diese Reise goldrichtig, um nicht zu sagen perfekt. Wir bekamen ein ziemlich neues, gepflegtes Automatic-Fahrzeug im Top Zustand, ausgestattet mit bordeigenem Wifi. Zusätzlich gab es noch eine namibianische SIM-Karte für das eigene Mobiltelefon. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter Robert u. seinen Mitarbeitern Christina u. Simon war von Beginn an kompetent, hilfsbereit u. supernett. Selbst als sich unsere Anreise von Frankfurt um 11 Stunden verspätet hat, wir also anstatt am frühen Vormittag erst spät abends in Windhoek angekommen sind, war der Transfer vom Airport mit Simon kein Problem. Außerdem durften wir ein Appartment vom Robert für die erste Nacht kostenfrei nutzen, da unser Reiseplan für unseren ersten Tag durch die Flugverspätung nicht mehr realisierbar war. Dadurch fand die reibungslose Fahrzeugübergabe mit Einweisung u. zusätzlichen Routentipps am nächsten Morgen auch sehr früh statt u. wir konnten so einen Teil der verlorenen Zeit aufholen. Hervorragend!!! Die ganze Reise durch den Caprivi-Streifen u. Botswana war mit über 3700km ein echter Traum. Einen wesentlichen Anteil an diesem besonderen Erlebnis hatte das Allrad-Fahrzeug von Go Rent. All in all, we were very pleased with GoRent and our Toyota Hilux 4x4. It was an unbelievable family vacation. Robert and his team were truly outstanding. Not only very friendly but also super helpful and responsive throughout our entire five weeks adventure. Being this the first time we were going to be driving in Africa, across Namibia and Botswana with our two kids, having a reliable vehicle was our top priority. GoRent really provided a stress free experience. They were there for us 24x7 to make sure our journey was safe and pleasant. I had an excellent experience renting a 4x4 from this company for my 12-day self-drive trip around Namibia. One thing that impressed me right from the start was that they managed to secure a Toyota Hilux 4x4 for us even though we booked only about a month before our trip. Given how popular 4x4 rentals can be in Namibia, especially during peak travel periods, we were very grateful for their help. What really stood out was the level of service. They arranged private transfers from the airport to our accommodation in Windhoek on the first night, from the accommodation to the rental office the next morning, and even from the rental office back to the airport at the end of the trip—all at no additional charge. Having the same driver (shoutout to Simon!) for the transfers made everything seamless and stress-free. During vehicle collection, the team went through the checklist thoroughly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which gave us a lot of confidence before starting the journey as it's our first time driving a 4x4. Another thoughtful touch was that they provided advice on recommended routes and roads to avoid based on current conditions. This local knowledge was extremely helpful and is something we have not experienced with most car rental companies. The vehicle was very well prepared. The tyre pressures were already properly set, and throughout our 12-day journey across Namibia, we had a completely smooth experience without any tyre issues, punctures, or needing to make any adjustments. I also appreciated that there was no requirement to wash the vehicle before returning it. After driving through Namibia's gravel roads and desert landscapes, being able to return the car as-is made the end of the trip much more convenient. Overall, the service was professional, friendly, and genuinely customer-focused. The team went above and beyond to make our Namibia self-drive adventure easy and enjoyable. Very reliable, professional and friendly service We have found Namibia 4x4 Rentals through a google search and it was the first company to give us a very detailed and informative quote. It was very easy to communicate with them, they explained us everything before our travel, even arranged airport pick-up and a hostel for our first night in Windhoek. Before getting the car, we went through out route with them, and they gave us very useful advice about our route. We rented two tented 4x4 car from them and it had everything we needed, a fridge, all camping equipment, Wi-fi, binoculars, etc. All equipment were quite new, and the tents were very clean&comfortable. The tires took us all the way through without even a puncture (3000 kms in 10 days). Robert checked with us every now and then to see if everything was going fine. Dream trip made possible with the perfect car! After almost not having any vacation this year, I started booking accommodation in Namibia with just a week in advance , and given that this is peak season, I knew I would be limited to the type of vehicle I would get from some impersonal rental service at the airport. I had that experience before, and so even without any hope I tried reaching for this company. All their cars were already taken, but they moved mountains to get me the perfect car, and my dream trip with my two boys was made possible through the efforts of Go Rent. I got a brand new Toyota Hilux fully equipped for the most demanding terrain this country threw at us. It had all the gear to be safe and enjoy the trip, even the small, but very important, details as providing a Wi-Fi device so we were connected the whole time, double diesel tank, air compressor…etc etc…to make the 2.200 km we did during a week the best road trip money can buy. With friendly advice from Robert that is also an overlander, and not just a vehicle renter, and the very nice driver that picked us at the airport . Even when our car broke down Robert went out of his way to get to us (5 hours drive) and bring a new vehicle and repair the broken one. Great rental experience. The car was bulletproof and handled everything we threw at it, the Nissan had proper 4wd with low range which really got us out of trouble in some soft sand at Sossusvlei. It also has proper off road tyres which make the rough roads a breeze and we had 0 punctures. The camping equipment included everything we needed for the trip although we only camped for a few nights and everything you might need to get out of trouble( tools, tyre inflator,puncture repair kit, two spares, water tank etc) , Rian even gave us some binoculars for game viewing. The airport transfer and collection/drop off was seamless. We were offered drinks and all of the equipment was demonstrated to us. Most of all Lorraine, Rian and Robert genuinely seemed like they just wanted us to have a great holiday which we absolutely did. Would definitely book again.

From the complimetary airport transfer, refreshments and orientation for the vehicle and road conditions, you are met with friendliness, courtesy and efficiency.  The vehicle was fun and reliable, able to effectively deal with all the varying terrain we encountered. The camping equipment provided proved efficient. From basic spices to bedding, everything was carefully considered. Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals made our visit special. Excellent experience with Go Rent Namibia 4x4 Rentals. We were pickup at the airport by Simon (who’s incredibly friendly and helpful) just outside customs. Seamless and smooth transition to the hq and met Robert. This guy is running an awesome business and the vehicles all looked in great condition. We had a newer Hilux raider with all the basic recovery equipment, two spares, tire pressure gauge, binoculars for game spotting, cooler, and the truck was equipped with aftermarket TPMS for extra peace of mind. Spent more than a week driving dirt roads, some sand, and eventually back onto tarmac. Vehicle worked great, and Robert was quick to respond via WhatsApp. Oh yeah, they also included a portable WiFi connection and backup sim for emergencies. Really good company and people. From the owner Robert, that helps you from the beginning to all their workers Christina and Simon are really good people and employees. We get a small problem with the csr, and Robert has spoken with a Wearhouse in our trip way, so we just let the car there and make some shops, after this, everything was checked and solved wiouth paying anything. They are the best!! We recommend it 100%. We travel a lot and have rented a car in various places, but we have never experienced such great service as we received here. The owner is very nice, he explained everything in detail, how to drive safely, how to repair a wheel in case of problems, what the car is equipped with (and it was equipped with everything we needed and even more). We were given an extra sleeping bag and a blanket in case it was cold at night and beers for the first night at the campsite ;)! We had a very nice chat and coffee with the owner and the driver who took us to the airport when we returned the car. If we ever come back to Namibia we will definitely rent a car here again! From booking and pickup to the orientation and return day, everything was wonderful. We were picked up at the airport even though we hadn’t booked our 4x4 until the following day. We were then handed the Toyota Hilux that very same day at no extra charge. The car was in top condition: new tires, freshly detailed, with fresh blankets and pillows and never let us down for a whole month. The staff were all very professional and courteous. Si vous prévoyez un trip en 4x4 en Namibie. Go Rent est LE loueur qu'il faut privilégier. Avec Robert, le patron, à la barre vous êtes entre de bonnes mains. Un gars formidable et de très bons conseils. Un connaisseur de la Namibie et des pays d'Afrique Australe. Il est épaulé par Simon, un chauffeur amical et fiable, qui vous accueillera bien à votre arrivée, ainsi qu'une petite équipe professionnelle, au top! Les véhicules sont bien entendu de dernière génération, voir certains neufs, et maintenus dans un état de fonctionnement impeccable. Aucun soucis à vous faire pour la solidité et fiabilité... à vous de connaître vos limites sur le gravel et les routes de l'aventure Namibienne 🥰 C'était notre 3ème expérience Go Rent, et une fois de plus sans stess ni problèmes. Great equpipment with experinenced and friendly people Pick up and handover were friendly and filled with good information. The car was in perfect condition (band new). The tents and equipment is more than sufficient, including towels. A little technical hick up was promptly solved on Easter Sunday. Réservation par email très facile avec un devis reçu sous 24 heures avec Christina. Transfert aéroport a l'arrivée et au départ inclus dans le prix de la réservation du 4x4 avec Simon. Chauffeur très sympathique qui nous a fourni plein d'explications. Véhicule quasiment neuf, avec pneus neuf de très bonne qualité. Les duvets étaient chauds, les oreillers et les matelas étaient très confortables. Les tentes en très bon état. Tout le matériel de cuisine était fourni bouilloire, cafetière, casserole, planche a découper, couteau bien aiguisé, sel poivre, des caisses pour ranger le tout. Des chaises et tables de camping avec un réchaud et cartouches de gaz ainsi que le nécessaire pour le barbecue, une grille, des allumes feu. Des torchons et serviettes de bains sont fournis. Une paire de jumelles grossissement X10 fournie ainsi qu'un gps avec carte sim 18 gb pour le séjour. Des lampes rechargeables pour la nuit. Robert nous a fourni une carte avec pleins d'explications sur le trajet et la Présentation du 4x4 avec tous les équipements. Disponible par téléphone tout le long du voyage. Great car - great company! We choose 4x4 Rentals for our roadtrip through Namibia and can highly recommend this company. Very straightforward booking and smooth process with top service. We were picked up from the airport as agreed, and even our delay was not an issue.Our driver Sam was friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of important information about the car and general traffic regulations.Our car was in excellent condition, well equipped, including a navigation system, Wi-Fi router in the car and a SIM card for emergency calling. Additionally we received Robert´s mobile number for any issues that might arise on the road. Luckily, we didn´t need it. Ottima scelta Affidarsi a Go Rent Namibia per il noleggio del nostro 4x4 con tenda è stata un'ottima decisione. Siamo stati accolti da Simon, puntuale e cordiale, che ci ha accompagnato presso la sede di Windhoek. Dopo un caffè e una spiegazione dettagliata sul percorso e sul funzionamento del veicolo, ci è stato consegnato un Toyota Hilux in ottime condizioni e completo di tutto. L'equipaggiamento era davvero eccellente: dal Wi-Fi di bordo alle torce, binocolo, coperte, sacchi a pelo e tutto il necessario per cucinare e grigliare (inclusi detersivo e spugnette). Perfect from A to Z Everything was perfect, from pickup at Windhoek airport (after a 2 hour line for passport control!) to pickup arranged at our hotel on the last morning for the return trip to the airport. The 4x4 has everything you need, even a good pair of binoculars, and the 25 giga sim card lasted the four of us until halfway through the last day. It was especially cold for the first few days of our trip, but the tents and bedding kept us warm enough even when the temperature dropped to 3 degrees C overniight. Our experience with Go rent 4x4 Namibia was exceptional. The staff is super friendly, generous, helpful, flexible, active and really trying their best for you to enjoy your stay in Namibia. The first day of our arrival we had some troubles with the booked accomodation and we couldn’t stay there and they took us to their office, served us bewerages and arranged everything for us. In case of any incidents (which we had) they step up right away and help sort things out so that you can carry on with your trip care free. THE BEST COMPANY IN NAMIBIA We have rented 4x4 cars equipped for many years in different countries. NONE ARE COMPARABLE TO GO RENT NAMIBIA 4X4!!!! The car was practically new and in perfect condition. It carries all the necessary equipment and much more, for example, WIFI, binoculars, all kinds of junk and cooking utensils, flashlight...etc. and what to say about Robert, the owner of the company. Excellent treatment, honest person, helps you in everything, and if you have any problems, or doubts, you can always contact him. The rental also includes transfer to and from the airport. This is late review, but as they say "better later then never". Myself and my partner rent a car from Go Rent Namibia this yeae (end of April and beginning of May). That was a start of a busy rental season. We had a car for a week. Comunicatoon with the company prior our trip was perfect. They've answered all our questions. At the airport we were welcomed by Simon. When we arrived at the company's location, Simon told us all about the car and the equipment which came with it. We had full camping equipment: pots, plates, glasses, dish soup, head lamps etc. All what we needed was provided with the car. On our return, Simon also dropped us off to the airport. We had pleasure to meet the while team. We shared our travel plan with Robert and he recommended different route to the one we were going to take. I'm glad he made those suggestions as the views were incredible. They could have just hand over keys to us, but they went over our expectations. They've made our stay in Namibia unforgettable. On return, Robert hand over key chain to my partner to remind him about driving in Namibia while at home. This was very nice gesture. Look no further! Robert and his team provided more than excellent service and their prices were very competitive. We had the Hilux twin cab vehicle with camping equipment. Everything was provided and complete - all we had to do was take our food and drinks along. Wir haben ausschließlich beste Erfahrungen mit Go Rent Namibia gemacht. Der neuwertige Toyota Hilux 4x4 Double Cab mit Dachzelt war in einem erstklassigen Zustand. Die Campingausstattung war sehr umfangreich, saubere Handtücher, warme Decken und Schlafsäcke waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Service des ganzen Teams war hervorragend. Christina war stets erreichbar, um im Vorfeld, als auch während der Reise zu unterstützen und alle Fragen zu beantworten. Die Übergabe und Einweisung mit Robert und Simon war perfekt. Wir wurden trotz Flugverspätung noch abends am Flughafen abgeholt, um die Fahrzeugübergabe am nächsten Morgen nachholen zu können. Really amazing service, they went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle has everything you could need and want for an adventure through namibia. They were very flexible helping us add a second tent last minute as well. And the airport pickup Simon was great.
